What's worse, feeding or calling someone out on what they did and getting banned for it?
Before I start to dig into the topic, I want to say that I do have a history of being toxic and by no means, way shape or form, am I saying what I did was right and I most definitely could have approached the situation differently looking back at it now.
So last night, a friend and I queued up for a normal draft 5v5. When we got into the lobby, the person who was put in the support role was saying nothing but "gg" the entire time we were in champ select. Probably because he didn't get the role he wanted. Once we loaded into the game, everyone realized our twitch, who was our jungle, forgot to take smite. In my eyes, I don't think he "forgot" to take it, because he was a little too occupied commenting to our support about being in the lobby together for the 6th time in a row. To go with that, our support, Bard, was saying "gg" over and over again in chat. I don't remember exactly what I said to him in regards to it, but he did not like me calling him out on it. He claimed what he was saying was him not doing anything wrong, and I was in the wrong for saying something to him ( aka, he was trying to play the victim car here).
Next thing I know, Twitch decided to join me in mid lane against Viktor. I told him that he got himself into the situation at hand, because he was too busy talking to our Bard, that he needed to fix it himself. Needless to say, neither Twitch or Bard liked me calling them out what they did, so they both decided to literally run it down mid. Over the course of 36 minutes, they died I believe a total of say 40 times, give or take a few. All while they ran it down my mid lane, the enemy Lee Sin and Viktor were both encouraging them to keep feeding!
So where does my title for the topic come from you ask? Why is it that I got banned for calling them out on what they did wrong and only one of them got penalized for what they did(I know one of them got penalized because my friend got an instant feedback report.)? Why did I get banned, for 2 people who had clear intentions of ruining the game for the 3 other people on their team? In my opinion, they should be the one with bans, not myself.
Like I said prior, I understand what I said was wrong and there was a better way to approach the situation looking back at it, but it's obvious it's too late to change what I have said.
