Do "toxic levels" reset after not being reported for a while?

On my account I had 10 restrictions a while ago I did all 10 games and didn't get reported for months(trying to reform) but I slipped back into old habits and got 10 more chat restrictions when I though I would get 25? So if you get your honor back and don't get reported for a while does your toxic level or w.e its called get reset? Is it the same if you get banned? I have an account that had 14 day ban but I havnt been reported in a while, if I get banned again would it be perma or reset to 14? or even back to 10 chat restrictions?

It doesn't matter how many times you are reported, what matters is how your behaviour has changed.

There isn't a set amount of games you have to play without being toxic, but after a while your 'punishment level' drops.

The fact that you don't get reported as often (which you wouldn't know) and that your punishment level dropped are both caused by your behaviour changing.

Yes the level of punishment drops but it takes an eternity. From personal and friends experience I estimate that you need ~6-8 months of active playing (2-3 games a day) to drop on the punishment level. I don't know if there are any precise information from riot, and those experience aren't exactly up to date either.
