Chat restricted because called out an inter under guise of "new player?"

Absoluence·12/31/2017, 6:06:29 AM·1 votes·543 views

I had a xin teammate by the name of <removed by moderation>, who went 0-18 and his premade were vouching for him and saying, "he's new, chill." I called him out several times for sticking around when low health and diving turret 1v2 and under leveled. Through out the match the whole team keeps telling me to hush and vouching for the guy for intentionally feeding. We end up losing the match and I told the other team about it and my whole team managed to convince them that his intentional feeding was because he was new--yeah right, no actual new players will intentionally go 0-18 in a Normal match.

Now, I have been punished with chat restrictions. How does this toxic community work again? Mute everyone, and see no evil?

I've removed the Summoner's name from your post as the boards prohibit naming/shaming other players. If you have any questions about this please do not hesitate to contact us in the Boards Moderation Discord server.

That being said, you will get chat restrictions when you are toxic. There is no justification/mitigating factors for your toxicity - if you harass or abuse someone else, regardless of why you do it, you will risk punishment.

I spent the time to look at your match history.

The Xin player in question has seven games in the match history. SEVEN.

Before you accuse people of malice, consider that they just might in fact be new and bad at the game. I applaud that person's premade for supporting their newbie friend.

Are you fucking kidding me?

That Xin is so new he doesn't even have a profile on op.gg. He's so new, he doesn't even have Flash unlocked.

Unlucky for you to have him on your team, but less than three weeks after your last punishment, you should know better than to flame people. Stop harassing Cherm, and take some goddamn responsibility for your own actions. You're going to lose games, don't get so worked up over it.

Edit: I told you how things worked in your punishment 18 days ago, and my post then applies to this as well:

It doesn't matter whether somebody else "deserves" it in your eyes.

For starters, that's a subjective determination on your part, and it's ludicrous to suggest that Riot give everybody the right to determine whether somebody deserves to be flamed.

But more importantly, back-and-forth bickering is incredibly detrimental to team focus and morale. When you engage in a flame war, even if somebody else started it, you're hijacking communication channels for some sort of fleeting satisfaction in making somebody else look bad... a victory that only exists in your own perception, since it's virtually impossible to actually impose shame and humility upon somebody else via an in-game online squabble.

The expectation is that you will be mature. Ignore trolls, and mute them if they truly bother you. Engaging and escalating arguments is toxicity, regardless of who started it.

no actual new players will intentionally go 0-18 in a Normal match.

Seriously ? I've seen worth than that multiple times, i remember one game i had with a dude who got autofilled jungler, he took Renekton, did not knew anything about jungling nor anything about Renekton. At 10 minutes he was doing worse than 0/10, mostly killed by his own jungle camps, he got destroyed every time he tried to gank and he never got a kill. Several times he did the same mistake of sticking around when too low. But you know what ? Nobody called him out on that, because we understand that a new player trying something he doesn't know in a normal game is OK. Remember, that by taking on a role you don't normally play that you'll learn more about unfamiliar champions and increase your own skill level. That is what normal games are used for.

  • Never get frustrated by an inexperienced player's performance. At some point, you were just as green as they were, even if it was the day that you downloaded the League of Legends client.

Are you sure this dude was inting ? How did you ended you to that conclusion ? Maybe this dude really was new to this role and had no idea what he was doing.

Chermorg needs a ban from boards, and fired from his job.

Dude take 30 minutes, go take a shower, a deep breath, then come back and read every single reply you wrote, i really doubt you realize what you are actually saying. You are playing the victim, it's hilarious and pathetic at the same time.

There are rules on those boards and one of them is that you can't name other players when accusing them like you did. Deal with it.

Chermog has not "entered your thread and harassed you and threatened you.", it's other players like who are downvoting your post because of your behavior, how you act and reply to others.

If you act in games as you are doing right now i assume your punishment is 100% deserved. You said you did not wrote anything that is worth getting chat restricted ? Great so give us your logs then so we can tell you if you did or not.

Seriously, post your chat logs here if you want people to be able to trust what you say, maybe what you did wasn't worth a punishment and there will be a solution. But really, reading how you are replying to Imperial Panda & Chermog it doubt it.

It seems that you either are part of the toxic peoples, or completely titled, at least your rant made me laugh..

You seems so pissed of by this it's hilarious.** You need to calm down**, breathe slowly, maybe ask your gf for a little massage, but relax dude. Here is a lot of kitten gifs, i hope it'll help

According to Chermorg, this board's moderator, if you ever need to COMMUNICATE to a TEAMPLAYER that he needs to switch tactics, YOU ARE WRONG.

Chermorg, needs to go. Where do we report toxic moderators?

Riot defends this kind of shit. Its why they dont care about the quality of matches but mow much money you spend on over priced skins.
