So I got a 25 chat restriction and I think its entirely unfair

Now anything that was said in all chat was all in good fun and the enemy team replied in kind with laughing emojis and such, the only parts that I could find being restrictable is when bard said "i let yas kill me to save him some pride" so i replied with "yea don't want him to hang himself" now while this may be vulgar it was never directed at yas himself and i was just bs'ing with the enemy bard. All in all does any of this deserve a 25 chat restriction and is there no way to remove it?

If that censored part is the homophobic slur I think it is, you're lucky getting off with a 25 chat restriction instead of a ban. Hate speech (among some other severe behavior) is taken seriously, and Riot has a zero-tolerance policy against it.

Asking others to mass report a players is considered harassment. Punishment is calculated per match, not per report, so only your 1 report is necessary to flag the match anyway. Calling to report a player or threatening with reports only serves to exacerbate the problem.

Unfortunately, it can be construed as hate speech and will be exploited as such (even though it's not) because we have an astoundingly sense of astute morality here that all non-toxic players 'seem' to abide buy.

Minor. Once or twice on its own would probably be given a pass. But it will be used as evidence of a larger pattern in behavior if there are other infractions.

Complaining about not getting the position you wanted. Minor on its own, but again sets another piece to the pattern.

Also this text implies either you are trolling in retaliation for not getting mid lane, or passive aggressively insulting the skill of the player that took mid lane.

Insulting a teammate's skill. This is not constructive, and all it does is risk putting the teammate on tilt.

Helping a teammate recognize a mistake without disrupting the match and with constructive criticism is difficult enough as it is. And will usually fail even with the best and kindest of attempts. Laughing at them is NOT going to help matters.

Direct Insults.

Throwing insults at Player A while speaking to Player B, still counts as insulting Player A.

You recognized the vulgarity of this statement in your opening post, but tried to excuse it as not being directed at the teammate in question.

Insulting the enemy team, while on its own is not particularly bad(unless hate speech is involved), does present an increased risk of being reported from pretty much everyone. Your team may report you because you are spending more time chatting with the enemy than playing, and even if it "was all in good fun and the enemy team replied in kind" that doesn't mean someone on the enemy team won't potentially be insulted at some point.

Don't know what that says exactly, but I do know %%% symbols are used to mark hate speech/ racial slurs by the system. Whether you believe it or not, Riot does has a zero-tolerance policy against it.

The swift punishment for it, however, is a recent addition from what I understand. So even if you have been "slingin hate speech for fucking ever", you will want to stop. Unless you want to get perma'd.

Accusing teammates of trolling. The middle of a match is not the place for accusations. All it does is further disrupt the match.

Report begging is considered toxic. Reports do not lead directly to punishment. They lead to a review of the game, and only 1 report is ever needed. The system is set up this way specifically so premades and groups can't bully players with threats of reports.

Overall its not the worst Ive ever seen. But it is definitely punishable.
