Being banned

To anyone at riot. Can you please explain why a massive ban wave happened? I was banned and don't know what for. Player support isn't responding. Only 3rd party I use is curse voice, LSI ( lol summoner information) and baron replays. If one of these breached your ToS. It would have been nice to let your player base know "hey if you are using X program please uninstall it or face the consequences" but you just up and ban people. Also, I took noticed that most people being banned around the world have started around 3 years ago and use curse voice. Before I got banned I noticed that the client got a hot fix played 2 games then went and changed a key binding, played OW then went to log back in ban account. I was like okay check the boards and noticed a lot players had the same thing happen to them. We are just looking for awnsers. Please just let us know something.

Keep emailing customer support. No guarantee at all that someone from Riot will post here to help you.

Automated voice calls: We have no problem with players hopping on Curse Voice (or any other voice chat client) to coordinate with their friends in-game, but when the application begins directly connecting you with dozens of other people in unfiltered (and untrackable) voice chats, it can make for a huge negative player experience in a space where we cant help. "

From a post by Riot Sargonas a year or so ago. Not sure if Curse Voice has changed since, but it was specifically mentioned as a 3rd party voice communication app that was not allowed within League.

Same thing happened to me, Only program I ever used was championify. Hopefully I can get this resolved with customer support. My account is over 3 years old, has 20 rune pages and over 100 champions. FeelsBadMan

They tell you any third part program is illegal and that you face the consequences if you use it. Then they have said a couple things that are ok to use, such as curse. I have no idea about your other two, but if rito hasn't specifically said they are fine, I wouldn't chance it.

On a side note, they aren't going to tell you what you did wrong. They will say it would risk the integrity of their system.
