Is it allowed to get a 14 day suspension on your first punishment?

So, I got banned in a norms for calling someone a f word and I've never gotten banned before. I got a 14 day suspension, I thought the first punishment was a 10 game chat restriction? It's dumb how, one of my teammates called me the n word yet didn't get punished...

I guess it was my fault, but I find it ridiculous that I got a 14 day suspension for my first punishment, wasn't that toxic compared to other players and I was joking around but he got easily offended by it. One of my toxic teammates I had played with before quit, came back, intentionally fed, flamed everyone and ONLY got a 10 game chat restriction.

It just bothers me that the system doesn't ban mostly on in game abuse, it's always on verbal abuse. What also is bothering is the system can't detect the people who instigate this kind of behaviour, teammate gets first blooded and flames me for not coming. I'm not gonna add anything else to the original thread because I just don't want this thread be me going on and on about how I feel.

Hate speech is an immediate 14-day ban, yes. This is normal for that behavior. The teammate using hate speech likely also got a similar punishment -- the message confirming it doesn't always send.

I agree it sucks verbal abuse gets punished so well but gameplay trolling often slips through and doesn't recieve any punishment. But as far as the system detecting who instigated, idgaf about that. Doesn't really matter. If you add to it, you're making it worse whether you started it or not. I don't wanna play with 2 teammates focused on insulting eachother, so both can get fucked regardless who started it.

you have to be horrible and normally it is justified by the TOS that you agree to when you first get and after a patch, also the system is similar to school rules, teachers don't care who started it just those involved or worse the one caught
