Just received a Perma Ban on my main - Bronze I

Hello everyone,

I was perma banned this afternoon for a chat log I am not proud of. I started this preseason bronze V and worked up to bronze 1 promos. I am not good but I think I am getting better at macro play. I was just watching videos on auto attack cancelling and orb walking.

I had a windows update at about 4 min into the game and when i came back my team was not in the worst place, but my team was frustrated.

They began to flame me and I tried to explain my situation. When I had enough I exploded. I called them %%%gots, and assholes. I am not proud.

I was very wrong for doing that. I regret doing that. I just wanted to say I'm sorry.

As a side note, I do not expect to be unbanned as many people told me "Riot doesn't care if you're sorry." I received a 14 day ban a few months ago before the semester started and I considered myself reformed. Obviously I have more work to do. Thanks

You don't have to care , if you still wanna play , make new account , level up to level 30 , since leveling up to lvl 30 is faster now you can practice a bit and then start ranked , win 5 matches and you will end up in silver 4/3 , better than before , right ?

Major props for recognizing you still have a way to go. Sorry it had to be this painful, though. Good luck with your next account!!

As a sidenote, if you’re ever looking for something less stressful than league, I would HIGHLY recommend Stardew Valley. Never played a farming game in my life but I just melt with relaxation when I play that game.

Ouch. Sorry to hear that it happened because of such a crappy set of circumstances. I'm not sure which version of Windows you are running, but there are ways to beat Windows Update into submission. I run Windows 10, and while it doesn't give you the normal settings to control when/how updates are installed, you can go into the Services menu and disable Windows Update. As long as you remember to turn it on periodically and check for updates, and then turn it back off once you've updated, there's usually not a problem with keeping it off. When I first got my new computer it was causing me to crash all the time because it would wait until I was loading into a match to decide that was the perfect time to update.

While it's true that Support isn't going to overturn a permaban that was issued for hate speech, you do still have the option of making another account and playing. As Hikari has mentioned, leveling is faster now, and you will likely be able to start off at a higher rank than you would have on your old account.

Well you chose the wrong word, is all. You can flame for a thousand years, but just dont use f****t or the N word, and you're practically unstoppable. You almost can't get banned as long as you're more creative with your insults.

As for remorse? Why would you feel bad? The word? Yea, ok, I can understand that. But I wouldn't feel bad about ruining some peice of shit's day if he had no second thoughts about doing the same to me. Which, they never do, do they? If No One on this shitty game is kind to you, or cares that you are legitimately trying your best, what's wrong with paying it forward or slinging it right back at them?

Being B1, you haven't got much to lose anyhow, and getting a fresh account to do placements in may even be a blessing in disguise.

BTW if you do get permabanned you stay permabanned.

If you are really sorry, and depending if that was the only game you said those words in a long while filing an appeal, show them your remorse, hope for an unban, if you try it a few times on the same ticket they might do it if you have really been improving.

They can reverse the ban but only if your honest, and actually never do it again, u gotta let the idiots make mistakes, for example this morning i had a game with idiots, we started out great we were all like 15-0 team wide, then our bot lane comes mid forces a fight without reason, starts taking all the cs and suddenly the enemy starts getting fed, still won but they really pissed me off so I reported the person who started this, because it could have been much worse and I muted everyone, and pings to avoid hearing it did my own thing.

You get matched with these kinda douchebags from time to time just gotta report and let the automated systems get them without using those words.
