Internet Disconnection not rage quitting

Yesterday my internet crapped out on me and I was punished as if i rage quit and now I am having to suffer through a 20 minute waiting que to que for a match. While I have in the past been guilty of rage quiting, I am not guilty of it this time. I'm not sure if anything can be done about this but I hope that in the future riot can figure out who is crying wolf and who isn't. My in game tag is peythar not that that isn't already in the discussion but if somehow my queue punishment gets lifted by some holy act of riot then I promise in the future when i see the trying to reconnect message going across my screen surrounded by enemy team members I will resist the urge to beat my computer to death with a wiffle bat.
