riot employees should read the chat before banning

I don't know if riot employees read chats before bans, but if not, can it happen. I got banned for two weeks because someone going 4/14 said I was an idiot for going in when, 1. I didn't even want to, and 2. I'm fed... So we get into a fight and I get banned even though he started it. I don't want to get unbanned, my last day is tomorrow and I've learned my lesson, I just think that this shouldent happen again.

Being fed or not has absolutely nothing to do with toxicity. Plus, you had the option to Mute when he started the fight, and you chose NOT to. You deserved it.

Its well known that riot prefer gameplay toxicity than verbal toxicity. Thats why u can feed and troll and keep playing without saying shit.

Riot does read the chat logs before banning someone. Since all permabans are handed out by a Riot employee, they have to go through the account history and read all of that information before they hand one out to someone. Also, you're not gonna get much support or help here without posting your reform card first.

just because he's 4/14, doesn't mean he doesn't have a valid point for not wanting to fight.

though calling you an idiot is another matter.

Its easier to see the situation clearly from the outside after all. 4/14 or not.

he started it

Doesn't matter. What matters is that you did do it.

No one is going to believe you are innocent or care about your opinion until you post your logs.

Riot doesn't care one bit about what's going on in your games.

If they see any chat that isn't happy chat you're going to be punished for it

You aren't banned for 2 weeks by accident.

You should remember too, this is your last chance, as the only escalation after a 2 weeks ban is a permanent one, think of this as your second chance and change the way you behave.

No matter if the other brat starts the fight, don't engage on it, mute and report them, otherwise you will see yourself banned and locked out of your account.

Not sure about permas, but they do state they do for 2 week bans. However they dont read the logs as one of my friends got a 2 week ban after getting reported in a game we just played. The ban was so fast we couldn't even get into champ select. And it referenced the gane we just played as the game that got him banned.

The time for hin getting reported to banned was less that 2 minutes. Thats not enough tine for an employee to actually read the logs and make an informed decision

Since when do they not?

Also, mute and report. Don't respond.

I think it came up a few months ago on Lyte's Ask page (just checked; the account's disabled). Because of the tiering, the question is no longer "Is this worth a permaban" it's "Is this worth a punishment".

If you're at the edge of a cliff, it doesn't matter if you're six feet or "only" six inches past the edge. You're still off the cliff and falling.

so wait. You claim they don't first and then recant and say you aren't sure. Seriously bad way to get anyone to agree with you. Also it doesn't matter who started the flaming as long as you flamed. 2 wrongs don't make a right, which means you are still wrong.
