Make Mute Mute Pings and Post Game Chat

So I never used to mute anyone but lately I've just been getting these horribly whiny rude teammates that just want to blame someone else for their mistakes and then talk a bunch of trash. Its really distracting for me and effects the way I play because it gets hard to concentrate when someone is spamming the chat with negative mean nonsense so I have started muting just a few times. However I have found that some people have such a high horse and are so intent on running their mouths that even though you told them you were muting them they will wait all the way until the POST GAME CHAT to unload on you because for some reason they stop being muted there. Furthermore some people in response to being muted will start spamming PINGS at you and that is really annoying and distracting as well.

When I mute someone it is rare and it is because I really don't want to hear anything that that person has to say anymore because all they are doing is bringing me down and screwing up my game. If I get to the point where I need to mute someone to play I don't want to hear their pings either and I certainly don't want to hear anymore what they have to say after the game. So please when you mute someone make them muted for good including PINGS and POST GAME CHAT.

I understand how some players can make a point to be a pain in the ass and you need some extra functions to shut them up. Riot has expressed interest in ping muting in the past, though apparently aren't completely sold on it yet due to their importance (some people would just ping mute everyone and be completely cut off from the most important communication tool). It's still a possibility, to some degree at least.

As for toxic players firing off in the lobby, if you add them to your block list they will be muted in all lobbies as well! I'm unsure if the /ignore command adds to your block list, but if you pull up the client by clicking the icon in your system tray (yes, it is there, the client does not exit for you to enter the game) you can open your social tab and add them to it.
