3rd party software Should I be banned?

So I was banned about 3 weeks ago due to usage of 3rd party software. I will admit I did use 3rd party software BUT I only used it during a custom with a friend that knew I was using them. We were curious on how scripts actually worked and looked like in game so I had them installed with only that intention. I've never used these scripts outside of the 2-3 customs we played with each other. I've tried to appeal to them about my reasoning and intention of doing it but all I get is an automated response saying we can't unban your account.
