I recently got banned but am working on getting back honor, will I get my border at a later stage?
If I get my honor back after the end of the season will I get my border?

If you received a ban after 8/22/17, then you will not get your end-of-season rewards for Season 7 even if you regain your honor.
If you were banned after the 8/22/2017 cutoff date, you are ineligible for ALL ranked rewards. You will not receive the newly implemented profile insignia and the loading screen borders. You will have the default ( Red side, Blue side) unranked borders throughout the entire 2018 season.
Honor rewards are a separate system from Ranked rewards.
