Greetings summoners / Riot Games Player Support Specialists .

I created this topic to talk more about something spreading from time to time in our community . And it is . Scripting / Cheating / Boting / Cracking .I'm not doing any of those fraudulent activities . And i just want to clearify my idea for anybody in this forum . When Riot Games decides to ban accounts for a certain reason . They look up for alot of things . And they just open investigations. those investigations consists of searching of any kind of modification in the League Client . And then if they do find something corrupted in the League Client files. And then they just ban . Ban what ? Ban accounts ... Really ? Is this even logcial to you ? People will Crack accounts and reach them at any time and just script on them to test their hacks exploits . Riot will definitely ban the account . But can't they see that banning the account will not stop people from CRACKING other accoutns and script on them however they want and then accounts will consistently get banned . And sportmanlike players will be lost forever ! I know any of you will say that banned players can levelup accounts . The answer for this question is NO . NO And NO . People can't just forget their accounts with awesome skins . Champions and runes and just start another fresh start . With a Ghost and a Heal on summoner spells . 0 Sense . 0 justice . I know that many of you will say "Cracking accounts is random and only weak passwords will get cracked" That is an absolute non-sense .Even hard passwords can be Cracked ! I know all the tools they use to crack accounts . but please don't think i am one of them . I know the solution for this problem . And it's banning IPs . I know that Riot Games use this function in the Maximum cases . But . If they continue like this . The game will be more then overcharged . With what ? Scripters / hackers / boters / Crackers .

With All due respect and King regards,

Thing is, you don't even need IP bans - those are admittedly kinda dumb in the days of DHCP..

It's not hard to determine multiple account users though. IP address is one signal. MAC address, hostname, windows version, and so on. The client has access to a boatload of information that can be used to determine if account A is being played on the same machine as account B, and whether both of those accounts are live and playing at the same time. (Humans don't generally live play two copies of LoL at the same time on the same box)

IMO, I wish people were banned rather than accounts, but I can see where Riot comes from on their current policy. Getting a new account from 1 to 30 requires a significant time investment (++ chance of being caught) and 3964RP (++ credit card owner signal).

That, and with the plethora of people that /muteall at game start (can you blame them?), it's getting hard to tell the difference between awful players and nonhuman players.

The problem with stopping scripters instead of accounts is jurisdiction. Riot has full jurisdiction on their own servers, but these assholes botting and scripting are often in countries where Riot can't legally pursue them or stop them from making new accounts.

Do they crack accounts that have been banned or you mean cracking other people's accounts? I'm pretty illiterate in this subject.. I'm assuming cracking just means gaining access to someone's account, like hacking into it? Do they crack into accounts that were banned? That's crazy if they do, I didn't know that was possible. Just curious about it.
