Yo, can I not be perma banned? (riot pls)

I just got banned forever and I am a pretty steamed. I would have been fine with a 2 week suspension or something but I was not expecting a permanent ban since I just began playing league of legends again. I got the chat restrictions and the game suspensions earlier last year and had totally forgotten about them. I am pretty sure my behavior had a improved for a good tid bit, but I guess I returned to some old habits recently to where I was flagged as toxic for making fun of a daydreamer on my team. I feel like this was taken a bit out of context though because our entire team was thrashing the tryndamere and at one point it just became more of a meme than anything. I also called our Cho Gath a "Velociraptor lookin' ass %%%%%" because he looked like a Velociraptor from Jurassic park due to his skin. What I am trying to say is that I feel a bit robbed on this perma ban considering the time that has passed since my last restrictions and suspension and that I was completely unaware of the negative effect my behavior could toll. I know there's no sympathy for the devil but I firmly believe in second chances and if Johnny Football can go back into the NFL, HauntedPanda should be allowed back on the rift. (or not because everybody on the forum seems to feel the need to express their moral high ground like they baptized the population of Haiti)

So it's hard to actually weigh in when I'm preemptively accused of expressing a moral high ground, so let me stick to the hard facts and remove my opinion from them.

  1. Riot does not unban permanently banned accounts unless the punishment was in error.
  2. Their policy is that the "second chance" is the chance to reform your behavior following a 14-day ban.
  3. The word after "Velociraptor look' ass -----" is something Riot considers hate speech, even with the -a instead of -er, and even when used casually.
  4. Hate speech earns an immediate 14-day suspension or escalates your account an equivalent amount.
  5. Reform is marked by games played with good behavior, not by time passed, so your account did not improve its standing during the time you were away.
  6. With a 14-day ban earlier this year, it's extremely likely your account had not reverted far enough to a good account status to survive a zero-tolerance offense like hate speech.
  7. Trashing another player is something Riot always considered unacceptable, whether as a "meme" or not.

As such, I am afraid that the punishment will stand.

The Tryndamere might not have found it funny though.

Doesn't matter how much time has passed since a punishment, it matters how many games you've played and how much improvement you've shown in your behaviour. The system can't relax with you just because you've been away for a while.

I know there's no sympathy for the devil but I firmly believe in second chances

The chat-restriction and the 14-day ban WAS you 2nd, 3rd AND 4th chance. How many more do you need?

or not because everybody on the forum seems to feel the need to express their moral high ground

Most of the certified Riot White Knights™ (/s) on boards would happily accept punishment for poor behaviour. I'm absolutely sure of it.

That bites dude, unfortunately the system tracks based on games played, not on time passed.
