someone i know found a website which gave free league accounts but my friend thinks the accounts were hacked.. is there a punishment for using them? thank you for your time. Could police get involved since the account were most likely hacked? kinda like buying a stolen phone?

no....only the person who owns the acct gets in trouble. Hence why so many hacked accounts are SOL........they just love spamming the phrase " your responsible for your own account" then permaban the account no matter how much evidence you provide or pleading you do.

Yes, the account sold/given to you will be permabanned. Account sharing/selling/leveling is strictly against the ToS.
