Report system is rubbish, the game is still full of trolls and afk's

I don't know about anyone else, but i try my best to give out honest reports of players behaviour if they have broken the summoners code and go out of their way to make the game unenjoyable / horrid for their teammates. The trouble is its so demotivating to continue to bother as you will just continue to encounter them and have them seemingly "get away with it". Since the chat ban feature has been implemented for some time you do see less flame and dreadful language spouted throughout the games, so i believe that side of the report system has been effective. But it's simply not fair on the rule abiding players of your game riot to not have these issues more properly addressed especially with the age of your game now, i mean i myself have been playing for at least 6 years if not more and haven't really ever noticed a drop in the number of griefers, trolls or afk's you encounter. i completely understand its impractical to have a member of staff sift through hours of countless replays banning these people manually but its undeniable that it couldn't be done better. One suggestion i may make would be to add a notification system to the reports telling the party that filed the report on the offending player about the action that has been taken due to their report that they gave (whether they have received a straight ban or a strike towards one) which would stop anyone who feels the way i do from feeling so demotivated and powerless. Also have the offending party receive a notice about the report that was filed against them so they then know they are on thin ice.

no one like losing games, it not so bad when everyone has sincerely tried and the other team are just having a better game and grab the win. But it's just awful though to lose a game, particularly in ranked, when you have other players sabotage the remake system and others that then decide to grief to and not even bother to co-operate, then through no fault of your own you get a loss and the same result as those that decided to break the rules. Simply unfair.

I don't know why i bothered to post i'm pretty sure this post will just fade into the abyss of the forums never to be even seen by a riot member of staff let alone be addressed by one. I just want a better community for the game and a better environment for all players to play in.

I dunno man, sometimes people who refuse to surrender in unwinnable games, just as toxic as those who've given up because team INTed too hard through no fault of their own.

example: Jungle is 4-0-2 mid 1-7 bot lane 2-12 top 1-5

whole team: report jungle for toxic and AFK!

You have to define, "more". There are a lot of people getting banned as their first punishment ever for just typing one naughty word, as a response to someone constantly harassing them with the same offense over and over with no penalty.

I am on the side of this game being WAY TOOO SJW and censored as it currently is. However, if you want to ban 80% of the playerbase, that would give the "More censorship" argument some consistency. Since I am against that though here is what I would propose:

-No outright bans for something that can be typed in chat -Global censorship of the words Riot deems ban-able. Just force the chat filter for them even if it is turned off -If Riot wants to take action against CONSTANT harassment in the chat, issue MUCH LONGER chat bans instead of outright bans -Concentrate the rest of their efforts on actual bans for people who intentionally grieve

And one more thing....

Riot for the love of GOD!!! Can you PLEASE make the, "/fullmuteall" function mute all EMOTES also?!!? >(
