Have not played LOL in years - tried to log in and perma ban...WHAAA?

Hello! I played LOL in 2014 and never had any issues or problems playing. It's been years since I've played and I wanted to start up again, however it looks like there is an issue with my account. I can log into the boards, but when I try to get into the client, it says my account has been perma banned. And I have no idea why. I don't see anything weird on my account page (although my user name is weird and not what I created.) I already contacted support, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue.

Any help would be amazing. Thank you!
