Ok, before I "complain", I just want to say that I got chat restricted a while ago, and a fully deserved it. However, with the new crafting thing out, I cant get any "loot". I personally think this is unfair, because MOST people are toxic because of bad days at work. I love participating in things like this and I understand it is rewarding the good players, but if the one-time-banned people cant participate in these cool new things then it just ruins the fun. Getting loot could introduce them to new champions, and make them want to play better, but not getting any loot makes them feel like they dont have to play any better or try any harder to get rewards. No one wants to do their job any better if they know they arent getting a raise.

You'll start earning Hextech loot again after a reform period and you stop showing negative behavior. This period is variable between players, and Riot intends on making your "reform status" more clear/visible so you know where you're at. No word on when they'll implement that yet.

Um, no cause, reason, or circumstance can justify toxicity. Even if it's justified (I'm inflicted with a sickness that'll kill me if I'm not toxic) it's still not going to exempt the consequence that follows.

While I do not agree with the "most ppl are toxic" statement, if that is true then most ppl shouldn't be here. This isn't a public slum where outlaws can roam and do as they please but a private faculty where you're expected to show etiquette that you agreed to before entering the building.

Nope. It isn't unfair. You broke the rules, you don't get your treat. Most people don't give their pets treats after they take a dump on your pillow. Same thing with Riot.

They just created a carrot. If you want the carrot you have the behave. That is how it works. It's free stuff (potentially).

Also we have a Red post already on Reddit saying your restriction from the free stuff is not permanent. You will be put on the naughty list for a certain amount of time until you work it off. We don't know the details. I expect there will be hundreds of posts from kids who get punished QQing because of how long it takes to get back to the nice list.
