Perm Banned...

I was banned tonight without recent warning ( its been months)? I don't play league very much anymore and yes I have had chat restrictions and a suspension long ago in the past but I had since changed my nature, then last night I encountered troll player who deliberately ruined the game for everyone by staying near base and using his laugh animation and... I lost my cool. I admit, I was in the wrong, I am not asking for forgiveness but rather a chance to redeem myself and play on the account I have had for over 4 years. Not really sure what else to say except :*(

I was under the impression that if you exhibit good behavior for extended periods of time you can "make your way down the punishment ladder" as explained here: https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/207489286-Instant-Feedback-System-FAQ-#h1q1

It's been months (possibly over a year) since my last punishment and I had not received any notifications of being reported prior to receiving the perma ban. Can anyone offer insight on this or am I just a toxic a**hole?

I dunno man, maybe they just didn't like you calling people 'duo %%%%s'. Send a ticket, we can't tell you what happened.

Riot isn't going to give any estimations on the length at which deescalation in punishment occurs because that will incentivize certain individuals to try and play the system. In that same thread they won't tell players what key actions elevate punishment levels by what amounts. So If you've had actual punishments before its best not to guess how long you have to go before you are given leniency again. It would be better for your own benefit to assume you are never given said leniency again in fact. Submitting a ticket and asking for clarity on your particular case would be the best option.

If it's any consolation, making a fresh account could make it easier on ranked because you will probably be placed high and climb easier.

Other than that... Riot doesnt unban accounts unless it was a HUGE mistake. You might be out of luck.

Riot did this in your favor. Make an new account, buy $1000,- worth of RP, be toxic and repeat the steps.

It's just a method of Riot to earn more money :)

If you continually use terms like the names you throw out, and Im guessing its not been over a year though you say that. They will result in a permaban quickly. You didnt learn, its over. Fresh account time

How sensitive are we that the above infractions are worthy of perm banning? I may be in the minority on these boards, but I just don't see the chat log as being that bad.

Sucks that this happened to you mate, riot's ban system is broken and I think a lot of us feel that way. If it makes you feel any better I don't think that what you said justifies a perma ban /shrug
