Im trying to figure out why I was chat banned fro 25 games? When every person was talking trash not only me. I feel like the mods discriminate against me. Some guy called me an african jew, but I bet he didn't get chat banned. This whole system is unfair, and if someone starts talking trash. Both parties should be punished not ONE SIDE. Especially if that side wasn't the instigator of the argument.
"He started it" is not a valid excuse. You are judged by your actions alone. The others should be punished as well (perhaps not immediately, but if they keep it up they will be), but that doesn't mean you get a free pass.
Punishments aren't based on just a single game. They are based on your overall behavior. If you reported those people what they said will count against them the same way what you said counted against you. That may not put them up for a punishment, but it will count against them.
Their behavior does not excuse yours.
There is no way to know whether or not the other players are punished, making your entire arguement invalid.

At this rate it's going to be a long time before you can feel the sweet sweet psychological reward of a free hextech box. It's like a true symbol of good morality when you open it, you know you earned it keeping strong in the most toxic game ever made.

Typically both parties do get punished (if both were toxic and both get reported). Though lesser of being punished, they are both being "dinged" by the automated system. The punishment would depend on how many dings each individual has received.
We also don't know if people receive punishment notifications when they someone gets a chat restriction.
