Issued a 14 day ban that i believe is false.

UPDATE: after talking with Frenchy of player support, he read the game logs in question and was in agreement that there was no malicious intent of me using the word "kys". Therefore was able to reduce the 14 day suspension to a 10 game chat restriction. He believed the conversation was causing negativity and arguing in the chat, I agree with him and am going to get through the games and get my honor level back to what it was. Thank you to everyone who up-voted the post and commented, it made me feel a lot better to know people actually care. Shout out to Frenchy for doing a great job and taking the time to investigate, Riot really is a great company that cares for its player-base.

I was in a game where someone told me they were banned last game for saying "kys" i explained to him that i was sure he had to of said more than just that to be banned for 14 days. because i said kys in game (not in a harmful context at all) he said he was going to report me after the game and i would be banned, thats what exactly happened. i already sent a ticket to riot, still waiting on a reply. here is my dialogue in question. 2 ways this post can go.

  1. you're telling the truth and this is a false ban. (because the system picked up the words "kys" in conversation)
  2. you're hiding something and Riot tantrams coming in with that summoner 11

As you said yourself, put in a ticket with riot support if this is an honest post. If you're lying for wahtever reason, then just know you'll gain nothing from this post.

should probably play it safe and just not use the acronym kys anymore.. its obviously caught pretty often:P

Also, the overall irony of this post is kind of funny in a way.

If your account is virtually clean and this was your first suspension, it's possible that it gets reduced to a chat restriction. I doubt they'll remove it totally as discussing punishments/the system in game is both off topic and kind of annoying, plus there are some instance of toxicity in your logs towards the end when you start commenting on them trolling/being in denial/etc.

I'd advise you to be very polite in your support ticket(s) and understand that they may be unwilling to remove it, especially considering this log is quite off topic for the game itself. Best of luck to you though :)

Slurs and calls to self harm are all under a Zero Tolerance policy. One offence can take your account from nothing to a 14 day ban.

send a ticket to riot, they will undo the ban if this is your log, someone reported you and when it detected you saying kys it automaticly issued a 14 day ban, riot will overturn it if you contact them VIA ticket.

that being said do not say stuff that will trip the bot into banning you.

i literally said "fuck u" and got perma ban so kys is a bannable offense lmao
