I don't see any valid reason to force a player not to show a bit of resentment in 100s of games because he has been banned a year ago but still doesn't always act like he recieved Buddah illumination.

Unfortunally expressing any kind of frustration or even telling others to pay more attention is now considered "being a dick". I cannot explain my situation otherwise, it feels like Riot wants me to keep everything pushed down, do not talk, do not try to lead, do not try ask and similar to anything else until the reforming ends.
If I was terrible enough for keeping me down in reforming why haven't I recieved a chat ban? My ban happened in a game where I seriously tilted and just wasted time at the Baron pit getting killed over and over for 3-4 minutes until the game ended.
It was justifyied and I didn't oppose at being banned by the automatic tool. But now leaving me in this limbo where I try my best for several games to show sportsmanship, teamwork and being nice totally nullified by a single display of anger in a single game it all comes down to: "Why do i even bother being nice?".
Expecially when trying to tell things nicely and getting ppl who try to trigger me intentionally (mute them I know, but I have no premonitions and I would like to read what decent ppl write) makes things worse. I have no incentive to reform because now it's just a line pissing me off reminding me that I cannot get goodies because I tilted 1 year ago.

Kei1431 voteswell not sure where you got the 1 /20 reform counter resets idea, but if you are referring to the hextech rewards, you'll to play around 120 ish games before you are eligible to earn them back.
Stars Shaper1 votesOfc the "1/20" is not the actual number but I've surely played more than 100 games and I got salty in less than 10. What it comes our anyway from this is that you cannot have a single bad chat comment if you want to ever be elegible again which kinda is unrealistic and too forceful if applied.
Kei1431 votesoh you can have off games, but everytime you have an off game you'll have to play even more games in a neutral / positive state in order to get the hextech loot back. 120 games is an approximate number, but it'll depend on your own performance. More off games means you'll have to play more games.
It was a severe punishment and you caused alot of harm throughout those period, so you need to be good for a alot of games in order to be good again.
But don't be confused with earning hextech rewards again and reforming your account to good standings and be clear of punishments, you still may be permabanned anytime right now.

Kei1431 votes2 games of tilt within the recent games you've played won't get you punished or permabanned.
consistent behavior would. if you suddenly were to tilt for like .. 10 games and be negative / toxic in those, then it will probably lead to a punishment and a permaban.
Who knows when you'll drop a punishment tier, but the formula is similar to hextech crafting "reform".

It's because Riot is ran by a bunch of soft cucks. Cant wait for the tribunal to come out. Any sort of suggestion towards another player will automatically be deemed tox and everyone will be banned.
elduris3 votesThere's certainly a difference between being a leader and being judgmental. Most of the time, I find the difference is tone. If you just say "Yasuo pay more attention in lane, Gnar is roaming mid" I don't think that would be toxic. But if you say something like "OMG Yasuo pay more attention" it can come off as you berating the other player.
Instead of going out of your way to show niceness, you can simply just stay neutral. I usually just stay neutral, only talk about things we need to do to win and call out summoner spell cooldowns and stuff like that. If my team starts getting all rage-y, I'll say something like "let's regroup guys, we can still win this" or something along those lines. Seems to work out pretty well. I had a really toxic player in one of my games this weekend and the constant encouragement I was putting out calmed them down and they stopped being toxic.
I don't think you have to go out of your way to be positive, but a little encouragement goes a long way. Just as long as you don't feel pressured to start typing in chat. If you get frustrated, feel free to vocalize your frustrations in real life (I sure did this past weekend), as long as it doesn't extend to chat you should be fine.
Stars Shaper1 votesWell aware of that. To be fair, I'm not the nicest person aorund here but I also try to keep it neutral and I'm ready also to retake whatever misjudgement I made and write it into chat, I always thanks ppl for ganks, pings that save my arse, buffs etc.
I just think that the reforming system is asking just an uninterrupted streak of positivness or absolute lack of any possible kind of remark that might hurt the ego of the players. If I'm not wrong then the system is really flawed because the cases are 2:
I keep the "toxic" behavior interrupting that streak. that means I should be banned/chat restricted or whatever because I'm still being toxic.
I'm not being toxic and then it's been months of prolonged agony and frustration after being nice even in the direst enviroment where others tried to push me off the board (and those happened a lot too).
From now on I'm keeping note of how many games I play and I will be say nothing more than what good pinging is and thanks ppl for stuff. The moment I get reformed though it will just be all at the cost of a bit of sanity because compressing the frustration of dealing with others' toxicity isn't the way to "reform" your players but just to make them more prone to future tilts.

This just isn't true. I state EVERY GAME how annoyed I am with my team that completely refused to ward; or how upset I am about 1v2ing bot lane because my support left me to roam or whatever for 20 minutes while the jungler never ganked while I was forced under tower to cs. Never been punished for it. EVER. Why? Because I'm not a dick about it.
