So I was just in a game trying out one of the free champs in rotation (Kindred) and like normal I didnt know how to use her so I fed a bit. I am not a quitter though and I dont just give up when we are down 5 kills. Pretty much we were all feeding a bit and this Ezreal wanted to FF or surrender I wanted to keep learning her so I said no. He then blew up on his support for voting no and I defended her and told him it was me. He then told the ememy team to report me. I told them what happened and they just laughed and moved on with the game. So the next time the surrender vote came up he said in chat "Hey Kin" I said "yea whats up?" he then posted an IP in chat followed by a :). He pretty much threated to DDOS me or hit me offline if I voted no. Funny part was it wasnt my IP. I then went to a live chat to report him and confirm that this treat would go unnoticed. I was told by the agent that he cant tell me that the user was punished. I know I am not the only person who wants to know it was delt with and correct action was taken. I was told the problem was privacy issues, and I thought of a easy way to solve this. If you remember when you first started playing League of Legends it would pull up a Terms or Service that you are supposed to read and chose to accept and play the game or decline and not play it. So the whole idea is if a player sends a report they have the right to know what action was taken and that the action took place. The player that sent the report will be notified when you recive your punishment. If you are the player that was reported it would say who reported you and for what reason. If you send a report, or recive a report it will say the status of the report in a tab in the league client. So for example say I report that ez for threatening me he would be notified in a tab in the client saing he had a pending report and that he was reported by me for harassment and it would show what I said in the report. He could maybe have a chance to explain his side in a quick message. Then after that it would be sent in for review and in the tab it would say under inspection for both players. After the issue was resolved and a decision was made if you were reported it would say you punishment and what you did that got you the punishment. If you reported someone it would say the users punishment and what they did. We deserve to know action was taken. If someone has a issue with the info of their punishment being shared they can chose to decline Terms and not play League.

This is just a quick idea that can be changed but I think this is a good system for the time being. I am open to opinions and other ideas please comment below if you think you have soem changes that would be good.

Vote below if you would like this system and would like to see it implemented into League

The issue with this is it encourages this “witch hunt” attitude where players base their value off of if their reports got a player punished or not. This type of attitude is toxic in and of itself - it is useless and serves to only segment and fracture the community.
