I updated to the new client and every time I tried to join a Game my game crashed and I just fixed but now I have to wait 20 min to join a game

You do not get LPQ for one game of afk/leave/crash. You get it for a pattern over time. Especially if this is 20 minutes, it means you have a long history of afk/leave.

If you are experiencing technical issues, you should fix them before continuing to play League.

I wasnt sure if I was still experiencing technical issues and the only way o test it that i knew of at the time was trying to join a game

Custom games will not result in LPQ if left or afked in.

Riot will most certainly remove your LPQ. All you have to do is play through the required amount of matchmaking games.

You need to write to support, not this board.

However, it takes a lot of afk to get to 20 min LPQ (I believe this is the highest level of LB punishment outside a manual review). Are you doing the exact same thing (go into game after update knowing you will crashed every time) over and over and over and over and over and over expecting a different result?

ive had LPQ prior to this I kept diong it because I was trying to fix it and i tried something then tried to join a game and reapeated the process

Then you should do custom mode. No LeaveBuster there.
