Players leaving my ranked games often

I don't know if it's just me, but I am constantly getting people leaving my ranked games over their own anger of how the game is going, the frequency being around once every other game. I don't know how strict the penalty is for leaving games, if this is an issue for other people just trying to get a simple 5v5 in, or if this is healthy for the summoners code and the game, but it's annoying and frustrating to lose and win because of this. Just putting this out there because this is the main reason why I'm not having as much fun as I hoped for this season.

Personally, Ive been staying away from playing games on my main account at the moment. Ive had too many bad games recently with toxic teammates and top lane has literally gone bananas.

I hate to say it but jungle and tanks seem to be the funnest to play currently.

Not played ranked myself yet save for a few games. I'm sorry to see this happen to you, OP. Though, I did see similar topics about leavers/trolls and AFK's in ranked.

Assuming you never AFK, there's a higher probability the AFK is in the opposite team. Our brain is wired to remember bad moments stronger in order to survive. Aka, we remember the late train that we had to wait for but not trains on time, even if 99% of them are on time.
