Permabanned for "second punishment"

So basically I got my first punishment this season, after being on since season one, and I got a ten game chat ban for spamming the letter G. Okay, whatever but then this time riot has taken it to permanently suspending my account for saying this exact phrase twice "This Janna is afk texting his %%%gots." Now I know that is toxic, but c'mon in the 5k games I've played and I have been on for 6 years now, spent nearly 2k on this game and I'm being permanently banned for being unsportsmanlike in 2/5000 games. Now when I try emailing someone about this they don't even care to read what I have to say, they just rather send me the same copied and pasted message over, and over. How is this even a support system if they won't even hear me out on how wrong this is? I keep hearing and reading others getting 7+ chat bans or suspensions before even resulting in a permaban and they say stuff like "Kill yourself you bronze 5 trash" Or telling people very personal, hurtful things.

Can we see the entire chat log?

riot doesn't tolerate homophobia or racism. 0 tolerance.

Generally speaking, punishments are issued based on consistency of behavior - that is, the more punishments the system issues, the worse the punishments become. The ladder for that looks something like this:

  • 10-game chat restriction
  • 25-game chat restriction
  • 14-day time ban
  • perma-ban

However, certain types of comments - hate speech and death threats, for example - warrant an escalation of punishment, which can cause you to skip tiers. This is exactly what happened in your case.

How much of a veteran you are, how much investment you made, and how devoted you are toward this game isn't going to make your account priviledged. Either you've been toxic once or you didn't, as unfortunate for you as it may be.

It's pretty sad to lose something you've spent to much on. All I can say is take it as a lesson and in the future whenever you're involving things you value or treasure, be more careful with what you're doing with them.

You do know that hate speech (such as that word) is grounds for an automatic perma? No one gives a shit how long or how many games you've played. No one cares how much money you spent. That doesn't excuse being an utter asshole.

You tried emailing them? Why would they care what you have to say? You are meaningless. You've been permabanned, as you should have been, and are no longer relevant. They will not undo an intentional permaban, and they will definitely not undo a ban like yours where it was fully deserved. If you're expecting a support system to be your "click here for unban", you're wrong. If you honestly can't tell why you're perma'd, there's something wrong with you.
