Weird how Riot dishes out punishment...

When I say:

"Oh my god, this team is trash" as we are getting pounded 3-28 and have lost 8 turrets in 15 minutes (I was 2/2/1). "Dude this Renekton isn't even fucking trying" as a Renekton goes 0/7 in lane in the first 20 minutes (I was 5/1/3 at that point). "Dude, did you even check the stats? I'm 100% better than you." in response to a 2/14/6 Zed telling me that I need to uninstall and go play with barbies (I was 11/6/4).

Result = 10 game chat ban?

However, when another player says stuff like: "Holy fuck you're fucking trash." (I was 1/1/0 at the time, about 4 minutes into the game. I had gotten killed while attempting to clear second camp. A couple minutes later I went to help mid who had a Kassadin and Nunu pushing him under tower. The Fizz, who was at 10% hp decided to stick around and try to fight them and got killed while I got a kill.) "ENjoy the report, you autistic %%%%." (After I explained that the only two junglers I own were banned and was playing Vi because it was a F2P champ)

Result = No ban for the Fizz.

You don't know if the other person was punished or not. Focus on yourself.

It isn't all that weird. Riot bases their punishments by consistency. This guy probably has a history or he probably doesn't. Also, you're not entitled to know if he is punished or not even if he was. Because of the privacy policy. People only bring their punishments to light only if they choose to do so.

So as a player said on here just recently, focus on yourself. Report and move on. You're not here to choose who gets punished, you're here to play a video game. If someone is bothering you, mute them and report them afterward. What happens with that player goes to the employees of Riot.

Not you.
