DC's in Ranked

Honestly I'm so sick and tired of nothing being done about these people. I, and a lot of my friends, have been reporting the hell out of players that have DC'd in ranked and nothing is being done. This last game, that cost me my promos, was by a player that even told us that he was experiencing connection issues all day. Why is it that I would be penalized if I left the Champion Select. I was knocked down to 42 LP from 80. Really? But if I were to close my client during champion select, when he admitted he had issues I would have lost LP anyway. Please at least attempt to do something, as the rest of us are facing these problems every freaking day.

This is unfrotunately a tricky subject. While it is highly frustrating to lose a game due to DCs, there has been progress working on it.

However, for the current time there's a conundrum. If players do not lose LP for a teammate DCing, that would lead to situations where losing teammates would harass a teammate with the intention of them quitting, with the players not losing LP. This could also be done by duo queues, though that is easier to avoid.

This is the biggest problem and obstacle for the AFK/DC issue to overcome.

TBF if a player dc/afks enough games they put into low priority queue. It really doesn't take much for it to happen. You failed to mention you're playing with different people everytime.... The game community is huge you rarely seem the same people twice until higher elos(or your stuck in low elo long enough) Also there is no point in reporting people who dc from game, the game does that instantly, you reporting them doesn't add any fuel to the fire. If all you say is they dc'd and we lost(insert filler flame statement as needed)
