Team banning my champion after I declare him.

Riot how can you allow this to happen. You want to promote good sportsmanship which is nice. New Honor system is a good idea but deep down you know people can't be trusted to do the right thing. If I declare my champion at the start my team should not be allowed to ban him. My pick should be protected. It's almost embarrassing bringing it up seems like it should have been implemented from the start. Can I look forward to this change on the next patch?

I'm a one trick pony with 100% play rate on my champion. But keep getting banned. Very frustrating.

Riot does not support the idea of OTPs in draft pick, be it ranked/normals.

There is a requirement to own a certain number of champions to play draft pick. You are expected to, if your preferred champion(s) is/are banned, know how to play another champion that you own.

If people want to ban your preferred champion, be they enemy or teammate, they are permitted to. The banning phase is considered more crucial than the pick phase. There are many valid reasons to ban a teammate's preferred - pick order, unbalanced, doesn't work with team comp, etc. Thus, it is not prohibited for your teammates to do so.

Yeah.. just learn to play more than one champ. People can ban whatever champ they want, don't declare if you're worried about people banning it

No you should not look forward to this change any patch.

I agree it is an extremely dick move to ban your teammate intended pick, but it is my ban pick. I should be able to ban whoever I don't want to play with or against. You have the same freedom.

It's really inappropriate for a teammate to ban a declared champion and as we can clearly see (from these forums and in the game) we can't trust people to make good choices in life. I don't see any reason that riot would allow this to continue. They want people to enjoy their game they should just make this a reality. Besides declaring champions is helpful to determine team comps it is actually beneficial to the game.
