ability to report someone for not being a team player in ranked

we need to ability to be able to report people who join a ranked match and stop, or never start, being a team player. just finished a game where our mid laner refused to ping his lane mia even after we told him and he acknowledged it... later then began to start blaming other lanes for things (none of us did particularly well but...) he just stopped trying to help the team all together then started saying how it was all our fault. if I am going to be punished in ranked for mistakes made as a team I need to be able to report people that are not acting as part of a team.

how do you get im a dick out of that? i never said anything to the guy until we got ganked by mid the third or fourth time w/ no ping

The first things we said were asking him to ping his laner mia after he refused and started blaming us then told him he needed to go to norms if he was going to do crap like that

Map awareness.
Teammates are a lot more likely to listen and help you out if you are nice to them. Expressing frustration accomplishes the opposite of this because they will feel attacked.

Not pinging is 99% of the time not someone intentionally doing anything wrong. They usually are just shit at the game. That's not reportable nor punishable.

well there is the fact that the mid laner acknowledged the fact that they were not doing it and then said that they were going to continue to not ping mia "because we were cancer" and that's a quote directly from them.... and why shouldn't it be reportable or punishable? i get punished with a subtraction to my LP every time i get into a game and we lose because of stuff like this.... why should they also not be punished? im not saying it has to be severe, but it needs to be something to make people realize that if you are going to play ranked you had best play as a team or go back to norms long enough to know how to ping and communicate with your team properly...

it is stupid that people have to get punished because of this... I acknowledge that i am not great at the game but I want the ability to be able to climb or fall based on my skill and not fall because someone else decided to be a d**k...

Some games are not winnable and you'll get bad players quite often, you can't punish someone just because he is bad at the game tho.

And you'll always have someone that does bad in a game ( sometimes it'll be you ) otherwise there won't be any challenge and the game won't be fun.

Hopefully, the more games you play, the more you'll be able to climb or fall based on your skill, because you're the only factor you can control in those games, so everyone climb or fall based on their skills, it's just not that obvious when you loose a game because of your team, but over the course of thousands of games it'll equilibrate itself.

Firstly no one is talking about aram, understand what youre saying but no aram, an no that isnt what i am talking about you dont neccesarily have to agree with anyone but if your team is all somewhere you need to be with them in case team fight (unless asked to split) and this particular issue isnt with that... it is with a team mate not cummunicating with their team so please dont try and turn this into something it isnt...
