What did I say that was offensive to anyone? Let alone me trying to defend someone? Is there even a point in opening up a ticket about this? My bot lane was trash talking my top lane all game, I try to defend and because I was typing back I got a chat ban? I get you have to automate punishments for the sheer number of games that need to be analyzed, but you're chat muting people off of this?

Asking for reports in the form of harassments and crude 'your mom' jokes.

The chat itself is kinda mild, but if you consistently do this (which report askers frequently do, cos they don't know it's punishable) over many games, it will get you punished.

Asking for report because someone is being toxic is reportable?

I get the context for the mom joke is hard to understand seeing one side of the chat, however it was merely that, a joke. Plus, riot encourages a little back and forth, just putting down team mates is not allowed.

Saying just report him is trying to keep my top lane in the game, and to not focus on the toxic bot lane.

Still nothing I did in this chat, should resulted in my being dishonorable and losing chat privileges. I wasn't toxic to anyone.

Well, what is your purpose to report someone? The answer is that you want to get someone punished and no one wants to get their account punished. Therefore, your actions of asking for reports will be considered harassment.

Besides there really is no reason to ask for reports, as 1 report = 9 reports. All it does is flag the system to check for toxicity, and if there is, the system will peg a toxicity score to that game. More reports return the same score and does not get someone punished faster.

Btw, asking for reports get you like .. 1-3 pts? If you hit 100 pts, you'll get punished.

Not everyone has a fifth grade vocabulary like yours. NOBODY knows what you're saying unless you specific. The way you wrote it was offensive towards them in which case "reading it hard", they didn't mis-read, YOU mistyped but that doesn't balance out the bad doing you've done. You still insulted them with mom jokes and such.

It's not okay to simply say what you want and believe others need to understand you are just joking. The fact you rambled on post-game made it toxic enough. Stop being delusional as it's not the board community 'bullying' you, we're pointing out your flaws and why you got punished for. So be insulted, and respond with a mom joke (I believe 13 year olds do this? I kept it PG and that was considered offensive lol...…) is so toxic, I guess forget what they said to earn the remark, you're right, let the bully continue.

I'm not saying the boards are bullying, I was referring to the in game bot toxic to top, and I tried to step in and make him realize not everyone is like that. Good Samaritans are punished in league. Keep your mouth shut and you'll be fine, just take it. -League 2k18.

Both reportable as offensive. You can be reported on the boards just like you can in game. Should stick to being on topic instead of being insulting...

And you're right, it is riots property that i'm playing on, hence why I brought it to their forums to discuss how non toxic I felt this was, but I was wrong and i'm okay with that.

Riot doesn't want you to stand up for others in game, just mute, report, and ignore, let the people they're being toxic to take it and hopefully they do the same. Check.

This right here is grade A bullshit, intent definitely matters, especially in something as petty as trash talk. If it didn't matter, anyone could get offended at anything and every word out of your mouth would be subject to punishment. And since we're on the subject, the name "Mærk" really triggers me so I believe that you should be permabanned from the forums and just because you didn't mean me any harm is too fucking bad, you should be banned regardless because you know, intent is irrelevant.

This certainly isn't the worst stuff I've ever seen, so I'm guessing its more of a pervasive issue than just this one game. The system will let you get away with something like this every once in a while, but if you're getting reported again and again and again for mild toxicity, it will eventually catch up with you.
