A player left my ranked game within 5 minutes and we couldn't remake

I was playing Riven in the jungle. Our went to top lane, gave up first blood, and then disconnected for the rest of the game. Said something like "bye a**holes". We couldn't remake (???) and had to play 4v5.

I lost 18 LP because of this, and I'm more than just a little frustrated. My team did very well given the circumstances but it's not possible to cover objectives, team fight, AND play top lane at the same time b/c this kid left the match. It isn't fair. Why were we not allowed to remake this game, and why does our whole team have to suffer LP loss?

I don't get it.

I'm sure that we can only remake at the 3min mark, for 30sec. So if you dont type /remake betweem 3:00 and 3:30, the game will continue.

improvise; get your team to build ZZROTs and banner of command.

Also get vision and catch people out.

op.gg your whole team before every ranked and if you see someone trolling or playing stuff they don't win on dodge.

You get one almost free dodge a day to dodge this kind of game.

They currently have no options for teams that have someone leave after the 3 minute mark. You just have to deal with it, sadly.

Currently there is no way to prevent people from abusing a system if it made it to where all someone had to do to prevent lp loss for the rest of their team is have one person quit the game. Groups could and would easily abuse a system like that where all they'd have to do is rotate who leaves and takes the lp loss if they start to lose the match.
