How can i improve my overall skill and knowledge of the game?

Ok ive been playing since season 4 and i never really cared about skill or improving just played casually with my friends. But now im wanting to improve my game skill and just overall be a better player. and ive watched videos on "how to get better at league of legends" and i got some good tips and advice and thats nice but they dont really explain how to get better and i was just wondering how can i get better when im just constantly getting shit on no matter witch lane i go and its absolutely frustrating to say the least especially when i feel like im better than my opponent and they beat me.

Now i know im bad i really do. but i just feel like im stuck in the mud with improving and not getting any better it seems like im getting worse and worse by the days go by. and i am so frustrated. All my friends crack jokes when i feed instead of trying to give me tips.

i also feel like im not very mechanically in tune with anyone i play i don't know if my set up is weird but i always feel like im trying to focus on my mouse movement and camera speed. ive tried to adjust to a lower camera move speed with mouse and it just seems too slow idk if my dpi is too high or what.

and yes i know i need to cut back on the amount of champs i play ive just been messing around here lately.

if someone could make a list of things i could do/focus on while im playing games to that i will get better that would be amazing

im bronze 5 with over 300 games played like a 42% win rate in ranked and have like 1200 games in normal's its frustrating that ive been playing for 3 years and im still just as bad if not worse than i was before i was trying to improve

to all that read all of this shit. thank you and to all the future people who will leave comments or if anyone will thank you have a good day

Just stick to a limit number of champions. You will never master them all, so its useless to even try. Maybe have 2-3 to learn per Role. Look up their skills and see what will work well leveling up first. With that said items priorities is a must. See what you should be getting first as well as what you should be upgrading first as well. Note that every game will be different. So what might work last game might not work in your next game.

Try and see with the champions you want to play as what are good counters to them. Understand that most of the time people will try to counter pick you especially if you are one of the first to pick a champion. Also see if the champions you are playing work well with your teammates. This is why its good to get well with about 2-3 champions because not only will they likely get ban, but also some champions might not work well with the champions your teammates pick.

All that said Practice. Go into customs and learn their auto-attacks. Get well with Csing, as well as Map awareness. You'll need it no matter what role you are playing and it will not only save you in your lane, but also help you win games in general.

Since you are in Bronze 5 (ill admit i barely play rank so my opinion about this may vary) From what ive seen its best to try and get champions that will carry. Doesnt matter the role (especially for Support) but getting good with a champion that can fully carry the game without your teammates will likely win you more games because that low in the ranking people really just dont care at that point, so they dont try.

I got better by just playing more games, watching pro's on youtube, and also watching what people did when they beat me.

Watch your own replays and see how someone caught you and identify the misstep you took right before getting caught and try to not repeat that. Sometimes it's really hard because sometimes it's just a lose lose situation and there's nothing you could have done, but most of the time, there's something to be learned from your own games.

There are a few general tips I've been trying to implement to help my gameplay

1: Watch coaching sessions of people playing the champion you want to play. This is a great way to gain a base understanding of how your champion works and how you should play them, It also gives you an idea about what you should be looking to do with your champion.

2: Main 3 champions for each role you wanna play, and with your main champion for each role, try to play a secondary champion that counters the main counter to your champion.

3: Practise last hitting/jungle clear routes in the practice hall daily, also, Arams are a fun way to try out different champions

4:Trade often in your lanes. You need to get better at dueling your opponent so I recommend playing your lanes more aggressively. Each time you die 1 vs 1, think about why you died, and any possible counters to it. Don't think about the difficulty of executing the counterplay, but do try to implement it

5: Break down the things you want to work on game by game. So let's say you want better cs, then just focus on getting better cs. Trade if you need to but solely focus on farming. It's really hard to improve when you're trying to work on so many things at the same time.

6: Learn how to manipulate a minion wave, and how useful minions can actually be. This is huge and is often a difference between high and low elo players. Watch videos that explain why some people are extremely high elo. Think about the things you can implement in your gameplay. Midbeast often makes good videos for these.

7: Ask your friends to give you feedback about how to better handle situations, but do it after the fight or at the end of the game. They'll usually be willing to help you if you ask nicely.

8: Improving takes time. So don't knock yourself when you don't improve as quickly as you'd like. I have the same issue too but managing it is a huge help in regards to improving

9: Don't ban the champions you hate playing against, play against them and implement step 4. You need to learn how to deal with a variety of problems, regardless of how balanced they are if you want to start climbing. You need to be able to counter cheese strats.

find a champion you realllllly like playing

get tips from people on how to play it look at your mistakes dont look at what your team is doing just play for yourself my personal recommendation would be start with annie as she's VERY easy to learn try to hit your flash ult stun on people and then once you get the hang of her start climbing shes super easy to climb with in lower elo but if you want to get past higher elo start with annie then head onto a less punished champion which i'd say would be anivia shes super strong atm and if people try to dive you forgetting about your passive

-you have slain an enemy good luck

Start there. Search and/or ask for more if you still want to improve.

Also if you want to play some normals, I have an account in NA, so I can see more closely what you're doing wrong if you want.

Practice, practice, practice

And when you're done doing that...

Practice some more
