Silver and Gold Elo Mentality

I have been playing solo/duo que on this ALT account for a few days (since I reached plat 4 on my main and don’t want to lose rank) and I have re-experienced silver and gold Elo. Let me tell you that this Elo is completely different and compared to a mental ward

So you might wonder, how can you even have fun here? it’s a team game, but your team is always full of degenerates who troll in champ select, Soft-Int at the slightest obstacle, and if the get a lead, they will just give all the shutdown gold to whoever can carry the hardest. GJ team

The mentality in this elo is depressing and sad, even for league of legends standards

“I didn’t receive gank so now you have to carry”

  • Poppy top 1/9 with IBG running it down on mordekaiser since min 2

“Literally writes 2 paragraphs telling enemy team to report me”

  • Jax jungle 3/11 selling hextech gunblade for triforce

“Stealing Ekko from jungler in champ select on purpose”

  • Ekko mid 9/11, no Ekko games played ever

“I’m not trolling”

  • Garen top 1/11 buying thornmail vs Vladimir

“Building triforce and black cleaver, no defensive items”

3/12 illaoi getting owned by gnar

I have received countless chat restricts and even a 14 day ban for flaming in my other account, but this all happened around this elo aswell. Why is it fair for people to blatantly troll and soft int but if i call them degenerates or yikes players Im in the one in the wrong. This Community was built on these principles of soft int and get offended for flame. GJ guys

Dude, you do not get to judge people in "gold elo" when you just broke into plat. I'm not trying to minimize your accomplishment, but you are Just Barely Not Gold™ and I'm sure you make your share of mistakes and bad plays.

you missunderstand. you're both in the wrong but for different reasons. and both deserve punishment for being in the wrong

you get punished by riot for typing and only typing. since the Nightbitch3 drama, it's better to know this now than later. typing gets results, ya know trolling or soft inting reports get thrown in the gutter because no way to prove they happened. but typing is proof.

Plat player mentality "Oh snap I just reached plat 5 from my placement matches because I was carried for 10 matches, that means I'm better than those who weren't so fortunate!"

not just gold and silver. all ranks have the mentality that they are better than everyone else and will flash their rank like a police badge.

Just people are bad at the game doesn't make them trolling.

They are in silver for a reason. Kick back and lower your expectations. Relatively speaking, not everyone knows how to play the game as well as you.

You just broke out of gold, and are afraid to derank back into it because you know you cant carry plat games, because youre pretty much gold, and now you wanna talk about gold like its garbage and youre so above it. Welcome to riot,where they are little crybabies and are offended by everything, the same with the community that downvotes this thread. They have no skin and probably start crying irl if you say anything even close to critiquing their gameplay, it’s pretty sad but that’s 2019. Time for your formula children !!!! :)

After several chat bans, two 14 day bans and a perm, I've learned it's better to just leave games when everything goes to shit. If I get feeders, trolls and shitheads, I don't bother trying to reason with them, flaming them or even begging them. I just fucking leave and hope the next game these assholes are on the enemy team so I can get my LP back. So far, no regrets.

This game is in a shit state and games go sour at the drop of a hat.
