Hello all!

First of, read the entire article before replying if you would be so kind.

I will start with telling you I HAVE been toxic and devious, I realise this and I admit it. However I have tried my best to change, I really have. I have ALOT of problems with it, but I am learning to deal with it and there is progress I would say. Now I have gotten a permaban recently and wanted to ask your vision on this.

Things to take into account:

I had a 14 day suspension and these are the first 2 games I played after.

There we 2 games given as reason for my ban while 50% was incorrect ( the second game ) And the first well... I deserved a mute for it as far as I am concerned seeing people wish other people cancer and to die... but hey, that's just me!

The first game: The " shaco piece of shit XD " was the enemy jungler and I wrote this in my team chat, so shaco never got insulted or anything, he did a good job at ganking me. However rammus decided to suicide time after time and my team started flaming, so I started a flame war. <- I SHOULD NEVER have done this.

I got reported after and realised: Damn, it's happening again, either I change 180 degrees or I'll be an asshole the rest of my life seeing I can't change..

So Game 2: I picked teemo support seeing I enjoy him and I had some good games with him - I ended up dealing the most damage of the team and helped out where I could, sniped out the squishies etc. I am free to pick a champ I like to play last time I checked, it's not a reason to be banned for if I am correct, I did not troll either as my stats and replay would confirm, I camped their jungle often, to place my shrooms and to ambush ofcourse. Which was seen as " afk " by the MF of my team, who was flaming and generally being toxic :(.

so here are the logs. Read both of them please, and sorry for the long post.

All in all I personally don't think this is permaban material, and that's not because it's my account but because it just generally isn't perma ban material in my opinion.

The perma ban material (how you call it) comes with the fact that you are constantly sharing a bad behaviour in the game. You were told with your 14 day ban that your next punishment will be a permanent supension from the game. Seems like you ignored that.

Even if you said something against shaco which he didn't read since it was teamchat this doesn't matter. If someone in your team reports you it's more then enough. For example if you start to blame all over the enemy team while they can't read it, it's still a bad behaviour.

Even the last sentences in the second game would maybe have been enough to get a report in your status getting value. And yes i am talking about that "report mf". Report calling is and will be punishable.

I was chat restricted once in Season 2 for 5 games and I started to read what can get me in trouble. You didn't even start to go in a deeper research after your 14 day ban to know how this system is working and what can get you punished / what will be your next step.

So over all, this punishment is worth even if you feel like it shouldn't. After you get a 14 day ban your next punishment is the Perma ban, even if you don't use racial slurs, hate speech or anything like that.

Yes, but only cause you had all your warnings. I mean its not the worse thing in the world but it clearly violates the stated rules set by riot. If this you trying to behave you have a long way to go. As context, your attempt at good behavior is beyond my most tilted.

Games 1 or game 2 was enough to get you nailed again. You did not even build a buffer of a single game of correct behavior. Like you mentioned you started a flame war in game 1 also pretty hostile towards cait and ramus. Game 2 requesting reports and general flame wars again.

I am not going to judge you as a person, but instead say you seem to have control issues. In some games this attitude that expressed is consider acceptable. Maybe you should consider another company that more is aligned with how you want to act.

Can you identify the flame wars in game 2? Looks to me like he is showing pretty model behavior for someone being flamed, most likely by mf. He very intentional tried to move on and continue to enjoy his game. Game 1 i understand was terrible, but i dont see an ounce of flame war in game 2

As far as I'm concerned, he handled this pretty well. Nearly flawless outside of either not talking at all, and telling her hes going to report her which is still not toxic. Asking other people to report her is harassment, but if shes trolling and he says im reporting you, thats not an offense.

I'm going to use an analogy that hopefully you can relate to in Europe (not sure how the laws are different over there.) Let's say you go into a restaurant or a bar and you get into a argument/fight with some people there and the cops get called. While there is a chance you might get arrested it's very unlikely you'll have charges be brought against you or that you'll go to prison. Now let's say the same thing happens but you just got out of prison and are on parole. In that case you most likely will go back to prison even if it was a minor offense because you are on such thin ice. In both cases the actions are identical but the punishment is vastly different based on previous actions.

This is identical to what happened to you. If you had no previous offenses this would have been a slap on the wrist (10 game chat ban at worst.) However, because of your previous actions the consequences are much more severe. Hope that makes sense.

On a side note, what exactly did you do when you played teemo support? The reason why I ask is I've had people play teemo support when I was the ADC and it's extremely frustrating because they leave me in a 1v2 lane for the vast majority of the lane phase. I love it when a support roams and gets my team ahead but if you roam at the wrong times it can really screw your ADC and as a support player you need to understand that. If you roam at incorrect times even if you get a kill it will be a net loss for your team because your ADC will be zoned away from cs and experience or may get tower dived and killed.

I hate this system, it just bans people who get sucked into a fight be real toxic players who are super bad and ruine the game with their feeding etc. They dont want to her their mistakes or what they do wrong.... all they do is cry cus you told them what they did wrong....

We do not see context because Riot is too scared to show complete conversation logs anymore. He said "STOP" to somehing incredibly stupid I can assume. And their teammates propably not listening. This can be rage enduring.

It´s not like he spammed insults in the chat, he just vent his frustration of the terrible teammates he is playing with. - _ -

I can just IMAGINE what this Rammus is doing all game. Not saying anything about it will make Rammus believe he is doing all correct in the game and wount think of changing his playstyle/actions/how he does things.

I play in Bronze, I have seen people do "poorly" and woun´t stop cus they don´t listen or just go "lulz" or whatever. Toxic as hell, not the people who write in chat but the people who feed enemy and do poorly because they don´t give a shit and never learn.

instead of flaming, try positive feedback and what they could expand on, give them some tips, if they keep dying and not caring about what you say, or even acknowledge, chances are that they're feeding.

ehhh, I don't always get sightstone as support, i first rush my core item(depending on how i play, usually soraka or braum, so talisman or face of the mountain. But at the start of the games, i always buy 2 pink wards, even if their team doesn't have invisibility. if they have a teemo or some sort, i usually do the same thing, except get eye of equinox(or sightstone) and oracle alteration.

plus, over half the supports don't want to play the support role and thats why they build poorly. proceeds to go support and fill in draft pick

If you want to make your teammates listen to you, why don't you make sure they actually want to listen to you?

If you behave like a douche, the best you'll get is you being muted so they can't see anything you type at all. At worst you be banned. Either way you do not achieve what you want.

As for fixing someones playstyle : you are not their coach. You will never ever see them again. Why the hell waste energy on them when you could use that energy to improve yourself? That is the only thing that matters in the long run

if they don´t want to listen to, then THEY should be permabanned for refusing to cooperate. Even in normals. Every action you take changes the stakes for A TEAMMATE and the goal is always to win, that´s how the game is designed. Ruining the changes of your teammates to win - should be an offense.

I don´t mind people making mistakes. But they can ADMIT their mistakes, LISTEN to me / others and LEARN from then right on the point. And not go 1 vs 5 Vayne-style in 10 minutes even it didn´t succeed the last two times!!

Eh, the first example is a bit on the aggressive side, so if a teammate is already tilting, it may set them off. But no, it is not directly flaming unless you spam it over and over again.

And if you really want to lead people, showing them what to do works better than telling them what they did wrong.

this is a game. Nobody of us all if getting money from it, nobodys life is in danger and games were invented to have fun. Even if I play poor, even if I make mistakes, if my goal is to win the game and i have a good mindset nobody in the world should be allowed to blame me for how I play poorly. It's a game.

And all these idiots behind there computers with that big mouth wouldn't do that in real life. If everyone would sit next to each other while they play as a team they would shut the fuck up.

First of all because of the consequences. Second because your parents didn't raise you like that. Or they shouldn't do that at least.

In my opinion, you bashing teammates is exactly the same thing as playing that instrument like shit. League is a team game. Being able to play in a team is crucial. If you cannot do that, this game may not be your thing.

No. Me telling my teammates they should focus, watch the map, dont roam alone or start a support item or get a sighstone is equivalent to a director telling a musician he is out of sync, plays wrong notes or has to keep up tempo etc.

Wrong. Even a colleague-musician in the orchester can tell you all what you doing wrong, cus you ruine the music and force the director to practice and restart over and over again which also ruines the success of the orchestra.

You might also be excluded from stage performances.

Or eventually being thrown out.

You are not in charge of your teammates. You are only in charge of your own character. You can offer advice but the other members of your team are not obligated to pay any heed to it.

How well someone does at the game, or what decisions they make in an effort to win the game is dependent on much more than someone's behavior. It's dependent on their knowledge of the game, their reaction time, their map awareness, their capability to work with their teammates, etc.

I cannot blame someone for being bad at a video game.

I can blame someone for their behavior in said video game.

i don't think you deserve a ban, people get salty(like when you get repeatedly camped by a shaco) and i feel like people should choose what champs they want, sure, people will troll ad gooooo idk, i can't think of a troll by choosing a champ that isn't in the meta. teemo supp is nice, and for camping their buff, thats smart, according to the whole entire league community supports are the ones who ward, not the adc's (i'm a support main) responding to flaming negatively can make things worse, instead just try to remain nuetral/make them come to an agreement without sounding rude. if you get unbanned I would like to play with you.

i had an urgot support in champ select. I asked nicely "but you get a gold item and sighstone, right?". And he said "sure". Proceed to start mana cristal. Kept feeding lane. Then second item was muramana and some AD Item. No wards on map for 30 min. We lost so hard to a Morgana with sightstone and Frostfang.

Please please stop thinking bad players have a right to be bad....

... in order to get better they have to play, right? also urgot support is a good idea, i think it was just that guy, i'll have to try urgot supp some time, lock on poke that can slow will help the adc a ton. the urgot just has to build support items, sure, not everyone can slap on a talisman and be supp, just cause they deal damage doesn't mean they can supp, if they have some sort of cc or shield/heal or speedboost (etc) they can help their adc.

I am just saying, don´t blame "Teemo support" is correct - but people even choseing these "extra-off-meta" things mostly have a bad attetude in the first place.

for the most part i play solo que, i like sion support, it's fun af. true, off meta people tend to have either negative attitudes, or their teammates have negative attitudes. I like league cause of choices, and options so I like off meta picks, or making my own builds(i test them out first of course)

That the Teemo support player shouldn't be banned?, or that the system should be less harsh?, or did you join this thread to expell all your anger on people who want to answer correcting and talk about things rationally. Make up your mind while debating. You sound like a politician saying whatever the people want to hear.

You have over 40 chat messages in a game that lasts 35 minutes on average.

You literally couldn't go 60 seconds without running your mouth.

If you don't have something nice or useful to say, don't say it.

Other peoples behavior doesn't justify yours.

Toxic players generally don't care about communication, via pings or otherwise. And frankly, you can communicate pretty much anything you could ever need to with pings now, especially with the recent cooldown and other status pings they added. Many games will go by with zero things said in chat by anybody, but communication was still there.

And if my account were looming at the edge of a permaban, I'm pretty sure I'd be willing to sacrifice the slim chance that I miss something relevant in chat if it means I'm able to not get myself in trouble and keep my account.

Same. It's very rare that I even feel bothered to use the mute feature. Usually I just laugh at the situation. Really, what else is there to do? Not like I'm going to be able to talk them out of being toxic once they're there.
