Hello, ill try to clarify why Riotgames is supporting negative attitudes and toxic behaviour.

Riotgames is teaching the playerbase to get used to be abused.

For example, someone flames you ingame or is trolling you,... a normal person would always fight bad or atleast defend themself Just like in reallife, if someone keeps hitting you, you will defend yourself any way or another, by hitting back or running away. But thanks to the game design you are not allowed to run away (leaving the game) So you have to defend yourself. (muting a flamer for example)

But what are you going to do against a troll or a feeder? He/she will harass you for the full game time, and you have no way to defend yourself, you are helpless... If you run away (leaving the game) you will get punished by Riotgames. If you try to vent your anger because you are trapped in a game with a troll/feeder by flaming him, you will get punished by Riotgames.

You have to endure their harassment until the game ends. There is simply no way arround without getting punished by Riotgames. So, why is Riotgames teaching us to play the victim....? Maybe a poor social-system-policy? Reallife example: If someone keeps hitting you, what are you going to do, if you cant run away (leave the game) or defend yourself (muting a troll/feeeder is pointless)? You cant do anything, you have to wait until it ends, and report him later on.

To make it easier to understand:

Someone is flaming. you can mute him <SOLVED> Someone is int.feeding, you cant do anything, you have to endure it and report him later on. <NOT SOLVED> Someone is trolling, you cant do anything, you have to endure it and report him later on. <NOT SOLVED> Someone is afk, you can remake if he didnt connect in the first 3min <SOLVED>

So, why is Riotgames focusing their ressources on problems that we can solve ourselves by muting them or /remake?

The answer is:.....TO MAKE MONEY !!!

Its a super simple business-model: RiotLyte himself said back then that over 90% of all banned players are being banned for flaming their teammates. If someone gets banned,....what is he going to do?.... he will level a new account, and there is always a chance that he will buy an ep-boost. Riotgames even supports this behaviour by reducing the total EP you need to hit level 30.

And if you didnt know. The banning system of Riotgames is FULL automatized. There is no human checking any reported case.

  • If you are getting reported for afk or leaving, Leaverbuster will handle your case.
  • if you are getting reported for flaming, a bad-word-filter will handle your case.

How do i know? because i got a chatrestriction 1min after the game i have been reported for.... you cant tell me that a human is capable to judging a case in less than a minute.

No, they want you to mute and report toxic players instead of adding to it and being toxic yourself. "Defending yourself" implies you are somehow stopping or mitigating the abuse towards you; when you retaliate instead of muting you are absolutely not doing that at all, you are pouring fuel into the fire.

Explain to me, what are you defending?

Is your ego so fragile that you must insult someone back when you'll never see these people in person nor likely see them in game?

Besides, defending yourself implies that you're changing the situation so that you're preventing further harm. Insulting them actually ecourages them to insult you more.

Do you really think that every person is going to hop right back into the game after losing all their content? If Riot perma-bans you, they would rather you go elsewhere. Being stubborn and creating a fresh account is completely your choice since Riot cannot realistically prevent people from doing so for a free account.

You realize that nothing you say or do would ever change anyone's behavior right? Nor help you win or anything.

Sounds more like you are complaining that you are not allowed to be toxic.

I understand your point, so ill give you a real life example.

someone comes at you with a gun, right in front of your face, lets say that your not a hero like most people and cooperate with the "bad guy" and after the robbery the police arrive and you "report" them , hopefully they get caught and spend time in Jail and/or Prison.

Same thing happens in League, a guy with a gun (in this case its words and/or behavior).... the best thing you can do is mute and ignore the person and report them later and hope they will be banned, you can leave the game.... Noone and nothing is holding you hostage, trust me I have left for smaller reasons and have not received any major punishment.

Riot is like the police, most of the time they can't help you while you are being robbed because they can not predict the robber aka the person with negative attitudes and toxic behavior.

the good thing is that you can report them, like the person who gets robbed does when the police arrive and gunman has left...

I agree with you about the thing that in this society some of the police are robots.

Have you see the movie RoboCop prehaps?

p.s. I dont understand what your point is.... and people are geting Banned for flaming?.... fuk man how the fuck did I survive 5 seasons without getting a ban other than chat restriction and 20min waiting time is beyond me.

actually.. if you get permabanned, they don't want you in the game.

int feeder = walking ward. it also draws pressure to something that is only worth less than a cannon minion.
