Very Wrongfully Banned

I was playing a game of league of legends, I was the jungle and playing Warwick. So obviously I wasn't ganking until level 6. That is how you play him. The mid laner, my buddy in the skype call fed, and told me in the skype call not to gank him. I didn't get mad at him or flame him I was just like ok. But then our alistar turret dived at like level 4 ???? By himself died and went off on me. Started saying "Jungle its your fault mid fed, you didn't gank" Didn't say anything cause I knew it wasn't the mid laner told me not to gank. Then Alistar didnt stop so eventually I said something back, called him bronze, and probably used some uncalled for language. So he instantly started saying to report me and blah blah but very obviously he deserved it more than me. But guess who got banned... The person who used the bad words. This is my first time getting banned, but it was a 13 day ban. I would understand a one day or even week ban, and also I have had friends get punished for being toxic, and the first offense for them was always a chat ban. I never got a chat ban or anything. This ban is unfair and kind of ruining my only chance to play much, spring break. I never even got a chance to appeal it. You don't even have to unban me if you ban the Alistar in the game he deserves it more. I wasn't talking really until he instigated me.

You don't get banned/suspended for one game unless you do something extremely negative.
Your actions are separate from others' in your game, and each person is responsible for their own behavior.

I'd take the 2 week ban as a final warning and a serious red flag to improve your behavior. The next punishment tier is permanent suspension.

Thats very unfair because I wasn't nearly as toxic as alistar he was that one kid who blames his score on everyone but himself, I wasn't the only one attacked by him, I explained all this.

Omg, it's like Christmas came early! You actually got some notification from me reporting you on here?! Thats hilarious and just proves my point! Also the fact that you're misrepresenting what I reported you for is really sad. It wasn't that part of your cmoment, it was where you said, "actually, please do..." which can easily be interpreted as telling a person they should commit suicide. Additionally, no, Riot does not pay me for amything. No, I can't be sent to jail for anything I'm doing on here and I'd like to see the law where it supposedly said that I can. Also reasonably sure I'd do perfectly fine in the minimum security prison I would be sent to if for some ridiculous reason it was an imprison able offense. Finally, what exactly are you calling me out on? I said barely 2 sentences to you and only after you told me to commit suicide FIRST...

It doesn't matter, you admit yourself that you were toxic.
It doesn't matter if you were "as toxic." You still retaliated. Mute the person (Do not tell them you muted them) and report them after the game.
That way only they will be punished.

There are only 4 tiers of punishment: The first two are chat restrictions (one short, one longer) while the next two are respectively 3) two-week suspension and 4) Permanent suspension (i.e. you are not welcome in the League community).
You're on your final warning.

The key thing you need to realize is that there is not a single person on the planet who thinks the punishments they receive are fair. That is part of the reason why we don't allow the perpertrators to choose their own punishment.

Doesn't matter, it makes a bad situation worse. The correct option is to Mute, and Report. And as LostFrost pointed out, you almost certainly weren't banned for just "one game". Just that it ended up being that game that triggered the punishment review.

If you haven't gotten a chat restriction before then you were excessively toxic this game. And yes, the system does try to get rid of excessively toxic players quickly.

This usually about the time a Red comes in and says something like, "Actually OP, this is the thing you got banned for presents giant list of reasons along with chat logs to verify. Your ban is legitimate, and will not be undone"

I'm sure you know, but "He started it" didn't even work in Kinder... Take this 14 day ban as a major warning to reform. Don't rise to the bait of people that are being abusive... (and WW can absolutely gank pre6.... if nothing other than to force the opponent to back up for a minute, just take a path through mid lane on the way to get scuttle or cross camps).

lol this right here is the lesson you have to learn. Who started it is irrelevant. Its how it works in league it is how it works in real life. Something you learn when you grow up.

Well, in real life what would have happened is regardless of whose fault it was if OP started cussing at the guy, the guy probably would have rocked his ass. On league you just get banned. In real life, if you run your mouth to the wrong guy like people do on here then you're liable to get stomped. I live in the south, around here if you present disrespect to someone, not only do they take their anger out on you directly, everyone lets them do it then afterwards tells you it's your own damn fault, then they make fun of your black eye for the next week.

The reason why you jumped directly to a 14 day ban is because you used hate speech in the game. Ban was completely deserved. You better stop being toxic because the next punishment you will receive is a permanent ban. Just mute people and report them after, no need to be toxic back.

I'm not going to lie, that was a really weak insult. However, the fact that you responded to his legitimate metaphor with a negative response speaks worlds for why you were banned. See, as everyone reads how you talk on here, we fully understand where your ban came from. These threads actually end up working against you in the end. Even if you did have a chance to sway Riot (which you didn't) you would now have killed it with your page full of evidence that you are like this regularly even when out of game.

Besides, he obviously teaches 5th grade or above.

Yes, I've secretly hacked Riot's servers but instead of giving myself 1,000,000 RP I use my hacks to get chat logs so I can summoner 11 people.

I see these posts almost every day....

I a going to assume you are young. The way the world works is 99% of the time, if you break a law, the circumstances or the situation are irrelevant. The law is the law, you break it or you didn't. Sure their are some times when this is not the case, but almost always it is.

Riot is not here to track every situation and decided whether to dish out a punishment or not. The facts are this. You broke the summoners code. Just like judges. Their job is not to decide whether to punish you or not. Their job is to oversee cases, they are not here to give pardons or make the decision about whether to let you off the hook or not. If their is clear evidence you broke the law, they do not have the power to dismiss a case.

The same applies here. Riot does not care who started it. Real life does not care who started it. This is just facts of life and is something you will learn as you grow up.

There are chat logs further down. And they are hilariously and obviously toxic.

His primary excuses seem to be "But he started it" and "If you don't want to see hate speech then turn on the language filter".

He's completely missing the point of his suspension, and it will likely become a permanent ban if he doesn't wise up in the next 2 weeks.

Besides, in multiple places it says "A chat filter is no excuse to cuss at your teammates." It's one of the load screen tips. Everyone here has probably seen it 100 times now while they're waiting to be able to finish that item with the nexus gold (the nexus gold comment is so damn funny XD)
