Just posting this here for transparency, this is unreal.

Why do you even humor the guy? Just report and move on. You let your ego blind you. You could end up punished because you felt like that guy just had to know that you were gonna get him in trouble. Why? Why do you feel the need to tell them that you're reporting and egg them on more? It's like you're trying to one-up him, which is not the Point of punishing for flaming.

hope you get a ban for asking others to report. Use the mute function kid.

I sincerely hope you got the IFS report after notifying you of his punishment (you probably should've).

Seriously though, I don't understand why people would do that. Do they legitimately think they won't get punished?

Lastly I'd just recommend in the future maybe don't go back and forth quite as much - you seem like a decent person and I wouldn't want you to get punished for increasing the negativity after others have muted him :)
