Hello everybody, as we can see here

and here

and here

and here

and here

and in many others threads, leveling bots are a problem.

I just wanted to suggest you to add a captcha under the accept game button. The bots, then, will refuse too many games (they can't click on the truck picture or the cars pictures, and so on...) and leaver buster will put them in a "dodger timing queue" so we will not be harrassed anymore by feeders

las time i suggested a teambuilder mode, i was happy to see it online few months after, and i really hope it will be the same gift this time thanx a lot for took the time of this reading and sorry for my bad english

Captcha would be good, but I don't think there's anything that stops bots, mostly because people are still willing to pay for that product.

I've played online games since Final Fantasy XI. There's still measures to prevent cheating and botting, but they're still sites that sell gil for real money, and I'd imagine there are still bots in the game, although I hadn't kept up with it.

I know it's frustrating, but that's the reality- every time they set up a road block, there's more bot makers that figure a way around it (or at least, that's my opinion).

No. When I've already authenticated to log in, I'm sure as hell not going to prove I'm a human (and risk messing it up 3-4 times) to get into a game, making the whole queue and champ select process take even longer than it already does.

There are better solutions to this problem that don't make players click a bunch of fucking traffic lights and fire hydrants.

I would probably stop playing. I generally am looking at other windows while waiting in queue, and from when I hear the noise of it coming up, to getting to the window and clicking it is stressful enough to try to do in the timeframe allotted. No way do I want to add a capcha to that process, I'd basically never make it into a match.

Captcha's are super fuckin annoying. I would definitely quit if solving a captcha was necessary to enter a lobby. I'd much rather the levelling bots stay.

ok finally i understand why riot do nothing, if players prefer waste so longs ruined games than make 1 or 2 clicks during a match window.

(It took 10min for a game to start, and we just click for a pick, and 3 letters for announce position. The rest of the time is just a wait. we have time to answer some questions)

if players prefer LoL to be ruined by bots than change a routine, the only way I see for solve the problem, and i think with many others harrassed persons, is to find another game to play with

Besides the neural net programs that Computer Science people write for fun (or for homework) to solve captchas, there are quite literally services people sell to solve captchas. A quick google can bring up results. The first result I found charge a little under a $1 for 1000 captcha solves (and promise an answer in under 20 seconds on average for normal captchas).

That might add a little overhead to people selling bot accounts but not much. What it would also do is add another annoyance for real players.

i'm actually reading about the captcha history one thing i didn't knew, some hackers can resolve complex captcha using thousands humans for resolve them, using free porn websites... -_- i wasn't wrong, some captchas can't be robotised, but we can robotize humanity for solve it for us, i'm so sad for this world

  1. Bots will get around captchas some way or another.

  2. Having a captcha pop up in client in order to accept the match sounds like a terrible idea.

Captchas are easily avoided lol. They are effectively useless & only exist to piss legitimate users off.
