Lol I got banned for calling someone out for racism

This is awesome riot. Nice false positive for me pointing out someone was toxic and racist towards me all game.

Clarify some things. Yasou was on my team, and I was saying to my team to feed him in hopes he can carry end game which he did up until the point I lost.

The Ahri on the enemy team harassed me all game and proceeded to call me the N-Word and other insults.

I defended myself then her ex duo partner or friend on my team who was already cleared to be friends with her morgana started flaming me and calling me toxic as well for pointing out the Ahri's bad behavior.

So all in all I was banned permanently for defending myself against flame and I had no other negatives on my account prior to my 14 day ban for toxic because I learned my lesson so I stopped talking less in game.

EDIT: I would like to clarify that I haven't been using chat function since my 14 day ban. I was muting everyone in my chat at the start of the game and communicating through pings. I would also let my team be aware I was doing this in pregame chat.

Cools,

Currently our e-mails only attach one game log, even if other games contributed to your disciplinary action. If you log into the client you can view your entire reform card and will have the ability to view the other two games that contributed to this disciplinary action (since you're banned you won't be able to do anything else).

The game that sealed the fate of your account was the one where you were upset because you felt someone "KS'd" you. You let them know your displeasure in chat and threatened to feed if they upset you again. Later, you followed up on that threat by letting the enemy team know that you'll be at mid for free kills while taunting your teammate that it was their fault you were ruining the game.

Is there a chance to have your punishments reset? Lets say you got the 24 game chat restriction and then for a couple months have good behavior. Will it reset to your next punishment being the 9 game chat restriction instead of a 2 week ban.

Yes, if memory serves me right it takes about 3 months of good behavior for ones punishment standing to decay a tier. In your example, one who is already at 25-game chat restriction would decay to 10-game chat restriction if they show about 3 or so months of good behavior.

I've never been banned in game or had any chat restrictions and I've been playing since season 1, maybe you're a little naughty in the past and don't want to expose it.

I have been temp banned on the forums though for speaking my mind, I guess the forum users are hyper sensitive.

I admitted to being naughty in the past but haven't been since my 14 day ban and they warned my account would be closed. I have plenty of other smurfs to play I was just wanting to point out how wrong this was. Regardless if this was my first game being reported or my 1000th, for this chat log to be held against me as if I was in the wrong is here is not fair.

Those don't go down you know, unless it was before their reset a few months ago. If you get a 14 day ban, and then 6 months later are toxic again, that will be a perma-ban

Once again, I haven't been toxic. I haven't even used the chat function up until this game. I was muting everyone at the start of my games and communicating through pings, which I also alerted my teams that I was doing before games started in lobbies.

I know. But you said that previously you had received a 14 day ban. The next step up from that is a perma-ban. So if you received the 14 day after they did the reset, even if you hadn't said anything for two months, as soon as you are toxic again, they have grounds to perma-ban you

So if I go to the ahris page and see they have games played since I was banned yet they were flaming me all game and being racist towards me is fair? I want to clarify that the community thinks this is 100% fair.

In this case, you may have not used chat since your 14-day ban. I don't know what the chat logs from your game said, but you did mention that you called them to back off. You hesitate to say how you asked them to stop. My guess is something you said in telling them to stop got you banned. Even if they started using racial slurs or offensive language first does not give you the right to verbally harass them in return. They should receive punishment, but if you returned the comments with equally offensive language, then your ban is also valid.

Pointing out that they are chasing Riven through jungle is flaming then this game is too PC for me now.

Heres the thing man...You take games way to seriously. There needs to come to a point in time where you say "why am I playing this game?". Is it for fun? to become the best and take part of in competitive leagues or championships? Being toxic in any those generally end up you not being able to play 1 or the other. Of course if you are a pro you get special treatment to reform yourself but still. Doesn't help when other teams know you are a pain in the ass to deal with.

I would like to point out that this was the first time I smoke in game since my ban. Which I don't really have proof of but believe me. Since I was unbanned I went through each game and ignored my whole team and simply played. Mostly communicated through pings. It was a lot easier than dealing with people. The one game I don't I get flamed by my enemy all game and get called racist remarks, but somehow I get punished. How is that fair?

Now I don't post things on the forums, but I believe this is worthy.

  1. If you don't have proof that you never spoke previously before this incident, you just set yourself up badly on mentioning it.

  2. I believe you previously said you mute everyone before the game starts since the 14-day ban. Now on my understanding, muting prevents YOU from seeing said players' chats, but not pings. So how would this have happen if you were unable to see them?

Now I'm not siding with vulgarity being alright, because I personally hate it and avoid ranked and Summoner's Rift cause I personally don't wish to deal with it; but what they did doesn't weigh on your reports. What you do in response to them does.

Haven't looked at the post, only the title. I see a few downvotes, and the subject is a ban. Anyone who starts something that serious with "Lol" is obviously really salty or mad about it, and seeing the downvotes they are probably just trying to get unbanned.

Now I've read the post. First of all, using sarcasm and overall sounding like this is obviously riots fault and not mine etc etc is a TERRIBLE way to get a point across. It makes you sound like a douche, which is what your trying to dissprove. He also only posted the chat logs for one game. The person may have been reported many times prior, and this altercation finally set off the system.

Actually not true. Riot has become so PC now that it currently stands as someone has tested in games with duo queue on a smurf. 3 reports for 25 game mute, 3 more reports for another 25 game mute, another 4 reports for 14 day ban, and then another 5 reports for perma ban.

I haven't received a punishment ever and I've been playing since Late season 2. When I 1st started I was more toxic than I am today. Every now and then I might snap but still find myself not talking most of the time and/or encouraging better team work. If you feel the game is pissing you off take a break. Don't continue to play a game where it pisses you off.

I mean, repeatedly saying "%%%%%%" like a five year old who learned "fuck" on the playground and is trying to be edgy is pretty damn obnoxious. I'm pretty sure Riot would also put a strike against the user if they just spammed "u wot m8" over and over again. The slur itself is less of a reason.

  1. Turn off /all chat. People really only use it to put the enemy team on tilt if they're sensitive enough. Better to let the opponent waste time typing something you'll never see than have you tilt over something pointless (ex. You won't see racist remarks from your opponent).

  2. if your team starts saying toxic things, MUTE THEM!!! You have a much higher chance of losing if multiple people on your team are tilting over stupid things one other person says. You can still communicate through pings or chat (the latter assuming you haven't been muted yourself).

Tl;dr: turn off /all chat if you can't handle toxicity. It's tilt bait. Mute your team if they start saying things you don't like. Report, pray that God will help them and move on.

Exactly. You can't get reported for not communicating with the team any more. So technically you could mute everyone you play with. The problem is the after lobby chat or before the game chat.

Oh my... Idk what I'd do if I ever got a permanent suspension :O I've been playing it this since the graphics looked like kindergarten artwork.

I think I'm gonna try strongly to be non-toxic. Maybe give myself a little pinch whenever I feel the urge to flame someone >.>
