Smurfs in 6 / 10 games

I track the players that "carry" in most of my games because I can respect a good player. But do not like smurfs. They ruin the game for people genuinely trying to climb. Ranked is a joke, due to the amount of smurfs. In the last 20 games, I've had MAYBE 5 that didn't have a smurf on one side or the other. It's completely ruined the game for me. Seeing the enemy bot laner 11/0 before 10 minutes EVERY game.

On top of that people in lower ranks have to hear "oh if you were better you'd be a higher rank" lol. Such an irrelevant argument. Or "play better and practice and you'll climb". None of that is true. You also always hear the people saying "Oh EYE can climb out of silver in a day back to plat" but that's my point. YOU can do it because you're smurfing. I'd LOVE to see a gold player make it out of silver (without duoing or jungling).

I say this as a plat player last season now stuck in silver. Yes, I'm salty, but it's a little ridiculous.

Someone doing well does not mean they are a smurf. I think a look at your last few matches and didn't see any profiles that even remotely look like smurfs. Heres a fun fact. Even if every single person currently playing right now in diamond+ stopped playing and hopped on a smurf, there still wouldn't be enough of them to put one in every bronze and silver match

Its more if youre good enough and you play enough games, you would climb to where you belong. But I get your point that your rank isnt the most accurate indicator of skill.
