I wonder

Hi everyone,

I am here to ask some questions, although there might be not an answer for it. I used to be a player that is so easy get tilted by the bad plays from my teammates, even i was not doing great at all, and I talked a lot shit to my teammates. So I got chat restricted, then I start to realize being rage solves nothing. After I got unbanned, i tried my hardest to be a patient, nice teammate, and I did, I encourage teammates to play passive when we were losing, and I won a lot of game that supposed to lose if I acted like before. The question is today I queued 2 games with people who said "I am going to troll because I got trolled by others. So I am going to troll you guys. GG" and "I jungle only because I am enough having bad jungler like you probably are" the first time I dodged, because I rather dodge it to let others have a proper game, it was totally fine to me, second time, I dodged again, same reason, and I got punished for 30 minutes because of AFKing. Is there anyway that Riot could have done to not let others people get punished because they have to dodge a game that is going to get trolled by some people? I know this might not easy to solve cuz there are a lot of people playing the game, I know I am not the only one suffering, and I know i am not the first one to bring it up to the table, but this really makes me sad. Sorry English is not my mother togue, and everyone is welcome to discuss if you guys don't think I am a pitty girl crying about losing! TBH this truely is my pitty complaining, just want to talk to feel a little better.

Indeed, trolling isn't tolerable and should be dealt with. However, you need to understand that just because someone is trolling you doesn't justify your dodging, a function not originally intended to be used. The damage done are different, but both of them aren't acceptable.

Reason why dodging doesn't induce too heavy of a consequence is because they're acknowledging the possibility that someone might suddenly have real life issues and decide to cancel the game before it starts. However, once this behavior happens too often then the player is most likely abusing it as he/she pleases and something has to be done.

On a personal basis, while I can sympathize with your first case, I find it difficult to side with you on your second dodge. That player you ran into was unfriendly and showed no intention to coordinate with the team, but his action is considered issue among players and isn't against the terms. He's still playing the game and isn't trying to harm the team intentionally. If you think you should dodge when there's a conflict with role choice or team harmony like that then not a single game from solo q would start.

To answer your question simply... No. Riot would have to literally change the queue process and trolls would be hitting a button to "Dodge" just to troll and not get punished for those actions.
