My Permanent Ban just got removed not even 24 hours after I created a Support Ticket.

Apparently some hackers got access to my Account and bought RP and sent gifts to some random people, so my Account was permanently suspended. At first I didn't know what was going on, and I thought I was permanently banned by the Tribunal, so I was pretty upset and tried multiple ways to get Riot's attention.

Back in the day you would easily wait 4-7 days for a BOT response from the LoL support, I can say that they really stepped up their game and their Support got MAGNITUDES better.

I didn't even get a bot answer, first answer was immidiately from a real person that knew exactly what was going on and how to help me, not even 1 hour after his first response I had 3 more, and had my Account unbanned.

10/10 Riot. Excellent experience.

Actually have to retract my statement.

After logging into my Account I can see i've seen horror.

They "unlocked" my account, but this isn't my account. Im missing like 2/3 of all champions but I had every single one but 2 unlocked, i had hundreds of skins, now I have 0. I'm missing about 9 runepages and a crapload of runes ... I have no idea how they managed to do this, but this is not my account, even tho the match history is correct.

same thing happened to me actually, once I got hacked, and when I got back I had like half my champions missing. I sent them another message and we worked to piece together everything that disappeared

You know....when i 1st read your post....all that came to my head was bullshit. I knew it was too good to be true. Riot does not care about their players. I have NEVER....EVER had a good experience with them.

I was actually just talking about their support in another thread. i will tell you how bad they are.

The most EPIC response I ever got from them was them responding to my ticket to tell me that they do not have time to respond to every ticket. But yet they had time to tell me that they do not have time? That response was just stupid to me because the time it took them to do that they could of just answered my question.

That's because they banned you to prevent your account from being further compromised and were ready to unban you the moment you contacted them. Every other week you will see a thread about someone who got permabanned for scripts they never installed, and they don't get their account back until a real Rioter finds the thread and takes care of the issue themselves.

Ya sorry op, Riot support is actually worse than ever. Still takes AT LEAST that long to get a bot response and a minimum of 2 bumps to get forwarded to an actual support rep (sometimes as many as 4 depending the content of the ticket). Also, there is no tribunal, and there probably never will be again. Thought, now that Lyte has "resigned" maybe we will some some actual behavior analysis reform in this game...

Funny thing is, virtually every part of my comment is fact. And the bit about the behavioral analysis reform in Lyte's absence just kind of makes sense, especially given the horrendous fiasco he caused about this time last season with his threats to take away ranked rewards for nearly half the community.

lol yeah. This community is driven by the wording people use in the post. Most people react to the wording. If its negative they will downvote....positive will upvote. No matter what the content is or how true it may be.

I once proved this to myself about a year ago by posting 2 separate threads. Both threads were saying the exact same thing. in the 1st thread I was raging...even had a few curse words and it was downvoted to hell. i waited over a week and posted another thread saying the exact same thing but this time i was not negative in the post and it received upvotes.

you also have people that will see a thread getting upvotes or downvotes and will just vote that way off the title alone without even going into the post to read its content.

Your test is totally flawed. You said 2 threads, one positive and one 'raging'. That's not just positive vs negative, that's positive vs extremely negative. The raging alone gets a downvote, it doesn't even get read, not raging means it will be voted on based on it's content because people will read it.

See what you are saying doesnt back up what you are saying. People had to have read it or they wouldnt know they had a problem with it.

Is that how you go about on these posts? When you see someone you consider raging you just stop reading and downvote it? Well if thats how you do it you can not assume thats how everyone does it.....i surly dont.

And to add to it....when i say raging i basically was just saying what i was saying in a negative tone with a few curse words. And the other post was a positive tone with no cursing. It was not flawed.

And even if you want to throw my test out the window the fact that 2 different people here are getting totally opposite different reactions over saying almost the same thing pretty much shows how the community is.

If the post is poorly written, contains swears and has a negative tone - people stop reading. So they have only a partial idea of what is being written. I apologize for not making it abundantly clear that people do still read part of it, but if someone is raging, as you said, they are much less likely to actually finish reading or retain what they read. Posts like that don't contribute to conversation or really contribute to anything, so they are deserving downvoted. Having a negative opinion doesn't mean you deserve downvotes - even a negative opinion can be presented in a neutral way.
The posts above were not saying the same thing. One was saying that in some instances the bans can be overturned quickly because they are done for security reasons, while other instances they are false-positives that take human intervention (remember there are THOUSANDS of reports to sort through daily, it simply isn't humanly possible to do while still many any form of profit). The second post was saying that Riot is just a bunch of worthless people that can't accomplish crap within any reasonable timeframe.

The first was neutral and factual, the second was a negative opinion presented in a negative way.

Lol @ being banned by the tribunal. That has been gone for the 2+ years I have been playing and has been coming soon™ just as long. I wish the tribunal would come back. When I first came to league, I was really excited that I might have some impact on player behavior. After a couple years, no such luck :(

I'm glad you got your account back but next time try to update your password every month and if you plan to take a long hiatus from League, then you can ask riot support to close your account then you can message them back to unlock it for you.

I did this before back when I was a bit angry with the game and I did have a chat ban so I requested riot to close my account for a month then I came back and presto got my account back.[slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Riot support is nice.

With the bot messages they are just copy and pasting messages to save time, they are a busy bunch.

Riot support said my old account had no proof of getting hacked. I quit LoL and came back to find my account got hacked into and was also permabanned.

I kept saying there had to be a change in IP but they kept repeating that there was no proof I was hacked :|

$1400 gone to waste.. Still kinda sad about it. Their support is good sometimes, but on account recovery it is lackluster in my personal opinion/experience..

I have a friend who got perma banned for hacking when he wasn't. He got reported by a 5 man and got perma'd he submitted a ticket and still hasn't gotten his account back. Rito won't let me submit a ticket because I'm banned from toxicity.

I usually get a bot response immediately after I send in a ticket. Usually some common sense generic answer to the field I chose relating to my problem and that a real person would be responding in X to X amount of time.

Now that Riot is much larger they can afford more staff for customer support so their response times are much faster.

I used to hate the Bot responses so at times I would type in, "Respond copying and pasting this following message please so I know you're real: message goes here" :)
