My Permanent Ban just got removed not even 24 hours after I created a Support Ticket.

Apparently some hackers got access to my Account and bought RP and sent gifts to some random people, so my Account was permanently suspended. At first I didn't know what was going on, and I thought I was permanently banned by the Tribunal, so I was pretty upset and tried multiple ways to get Riot's attention.

Back in the day you would easily wait 4-7 days for a BOT response from the LoL support, I can say that they really stepped up their game and their Support got MAGNITUDES better.

I didn't even get a bot answer, first answer was immidiately from a real person that knew exactly what was going on and how to help me, not even 1 hour after his first response I had 3 more, and had my Account unbanned.

10/10 Riot. Excellent experience.

Actually have to retract my statement.

After logging into my Account I can see i've seen horror.

They "unlocked" my account, but this isn't my account. Im missing like 2/3 of all champions but I had every single one but 2 unlocked, i had hundreds of skins, now I have 0. I'm missing about 9 runepages and a crapload of runes ... I have no idea how they managed to do this, but this is not my account, even tho the match history is correct.

That's because they banned you to prevent your account from being further compromised and were ready to unban you the moment you contacted them. Every other week you will see a thread about someone who got permabanned for scripts they never installed, and they don't get their account back until a real Rioter finds the thread and takes care of the issue themselves.

Lol @ being banned by the tribunal. That has been gone for the 2+ years I have been playing and has been coming soon™ just as long. I wish the tribunal would come back. When I first came to league, I was really excited that I might have some impact on player behavior. After a couple years, no such luck :(

Umm pretty sure thats gone, its now decided by reports on toxic chat behavior or the automatic leaverbuster.

Unless NA has had recent updates im not aware of?

I'm glad you got your account back but next time try to update your password every month and if you plan to take a long hiatus from League, then you can ask riot support to close your account then you can message them back to unlock it for you.

I did this before back when I was a bit angry with the game and I did have a chat ban so I requested riot to close my account for a month then I came back and presto got my account back.[slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Riot support is nice.

With the bot messages they are just copy and pasting messages to save time, they are a busy bunch.

I usually get a bot response immediately after I send in a ticket. Usually some common sense generic answer to the field I chose relating to my problem and that a real person would be responding in X to X amount of time.

Now that Riot is much larger they can afford more staff for customer support so their response times are much faster.

I used to hate the Bot responses so at times I would type in, "Respond copying and pasting this following message please so I know you're real: message goes here" :)

Riot support said my old account had no proof of getting hacked. I quit LoL and came back to find my account got hacked into and was also permabanned.

I kept saying there had to be a change in IP but they kept repeating that there was no proof I was hacked :|

$1400 gone to waste.. Still kinda sad about it. Their support is good sometimes, but on account recovery it is lackluster in my personal opinion/experience..

I have a friend who got perma banned for hacking when he wasn't. He got reported by a 5 man and got perma'd he submitted a ticket and still hasn't gotten his account back. Rito won't let me submit a ticket because I'm banned from toxicity.
