why are toxic players allowed to group up and be toxic and out number you in reports when you get in a peaceful argument about something? its not really fair because you don't get to really do anything about it just stay there and get banned or punished, if they bring a 4 man squad and report you, its not really fair and riot doesn't really look into these things in detail and only ban based on numbers. i think that in ranked games with 3+ reports towards a certain player, the game should be reviewed and in normal game mode 5+ reports towards a certain player should be reviewed and takes with real authority actions and not a machine.

More than one report doesn't do anything. A report flags the system to look at the match, you can't tell it to check any harder. So you don't have to worry about people "ganging up on you".

However, that being said, if you get in an argument with someone you are liable for your own chat. Riot makes a firm stance that retaliation or trying to justify a case based on "he instigated me" or "his was worse" doesn't fly with them, so keep that in mind.

Riot wants to ban bad people. They use poor player ability as bait. They know their bait works.
