14 day ban - First Offense - no hate speech/homophobia/racism/death threats

Hey everyone, I've been playing league for a little over 4 years now. Just yesterday (3/29/18), I received my first offense - actually a 14 day account suspension. First, I want to acknowledge that I was being toxic, especially using a lot of unnecessary profanity (as shown in the chat logs below). However, after going through countless forums of other summoners who received an instant ban (whether it be 2 weeks or permanent), I noticed they all used hate speech (racism, homophobia), or death threats, which led them to their ban. Please take the time to check out my chat logs, and throw a flag if you catch something SIGNIFICANTLY out of line to cause an instant 2 week ban, especially with no history of chat restrictions/bans on my account - ever.

I realize I did say "die" at one point in Game 1 - this was being directed towards the game play of the kindred and not the person him/herself as he/she was getting caught while still flaming me/my team.

Recap: I was being toxic in Game 1 towards a Kindred who started flaming my team and I from the beginning of the game. Started going off on us for being premade, and kept harassing us as "kids." In Game 2, it was right after Game 1, and it was a very short game, all lanes were losing, and we wanted to surrender. Yi was flaming our team for being trash, useless, etc. since he had all of our team's kills.

Again, I am 100% recognizing that my behavior was out of line, but considering I had no direct hate speech/death threats, I want to try and reduce this to a chat restriction instead. I am here to better myself, and I want to learn how to effectively communicate with my teammates without having to directly talk to them in chat anymore. Instead, I want to communicate through pings mostly. Please discuss your opinions, advice for the next steps, etc.

You're only quoting some of the zero tolerance policy stuff that is automatically a 14 day ban. The punishment system escalates based on severity and/or frequency. So if you are minorly bad a lot, you'll still go up the punishment ladder. If you're majorly bad, then you'll skip tiers.

You spend a lot of your chat flaming and harassing your teammates... .

Also, if there are pre-game or post-game messages you sent, they won't be in this chat log. If you want to confirm, you can open up a support ticket and ask if there was anything in pre-game or post-game that was the reason you got the 14 day temp ban.

Furthermore, you should take your 14 day ban very seriously. Read the reform card carefully because it says your NEXT punishment is a permaban.

The rule of thumb for league is don't chat if you're trying to be negative, hurtful, angry, passive aggressive, sarcastic, racist, sexist, homophobic, bigoted, or otherwise horrible to another person.

Use chat to build cooperation and teamwork. Don't lose your champs, don't lose your skins. Try to keep calm in games and remember that trying to make someone feel bad about how they play the game or who they are isn't worth losing your champs and your skins.

As long as you are honest with yourself that's a big step right there. The next step after recognizing the issue is to implement an action of changing your behavior that suits the community better. Riot doesn't care if you swear as much as you like. Literally go nuts with it! However, calling your teammates "dumb" and other stuff like that repeatedly is a no go! Please make sure you are watching yourself before you lose yourself to anger like this again!
