last season I did terrible in my placement matches and got put in b1. I was still playing with high silver/low gold players. your rank is irrelevant, it's your mmr that matters.
you are silver2 as you said , its perfectly reasonable to see bronze in your game because the matches has to balanced and if you dont want to wait for 10 minutes for game its the only choice.
Im gold 4 now and in my games i have guys from silver5 to plat 5 and i dont complain and you shouldnt either , you should treat it as a complement that game needs to balance your skill by putting bronze in your team
