Dynikus1 voteslast season I did terrible in my placement matches and got put in b1. I was still playing with high silver/low gold players. your rank is irrelevant, it's your mmr that matters.

I hate playing ranked, so I tend to only play a handful of matches, and I've never bothered to try and climb out of Bronze (where I started when I played ranked as soon as I hit level 30 so I get placed there every season). Prior to the soft reset at the end of last season, my normal matches were almost entirely golds, plats and diamonds, with me... the solitary Bronze 3. I got a lot of funny looks and questions about how I managed to get matched with teams that much higher than my level. But there was something so satisfying about someone making a comment about being stuck with a B3 support and then making them eat those words later in the match.
GoleBilon1 votesyou are silver2 as you said , its perfectly reasonable to see bronze in your game because the matches has to balanced and if you dont want to wait for 10 minutes for game its the only choice.
Im gold 4 now and in my games i have guys from silver5 to plat 5 and i dont complain and you shouldnt either , you should treat it as a complement that game needs to balance your skill by putting bronze in your team

"team holds me down " is a looser mindset, if for example your midlaner feeds 5 kills and the enemy mid hard carries you shouldnt think " wow he lost me the game " you should think " how can i carry the game , how can i get as fed as he is " etc. Also its the one fucking game from hundreds you will play if you rly deserve higher elo than you are you will climb rly fast so why do you even bother -.-

GoleBilon1 votesyou can carry 1v9, yea there are games that cant be carried. but stop looking at your team and start looking at yourself , you can learn smth from every game and become even better this way even when you loose you will improve and you will climb faster.
Team holds me down is the easiest excuse , you have decent winrates you will climb faster or slower is only based on your performance .
