Perm. Banned after two days playing?

Hello,

I've only been playing L.O.L for two days made it to level 10 as of today Aug. 5th 2016 in the morning and got an email tonight telling me I was banned. I thought it was some scam or something but tried logging in and sure enough I was banned. I guess you should get some kind of card or something explaining why but I never got one. Has anyone else encountered this before? I don't know what I did wrong. I know I said "shit" once but other than that I don't know. I sent in a request to riot to see what happen. But was wondering if any of you have ran into this. I didn't see any warning's or anything but after reading some of the boards it can skip all of them. I mean if I did something wrong I would like to know. Below is the email I received:

Hey TaoWarYa,

I've been experimenting with a few ways to detect "bots" in Co-Op vs AI and ARAM games. We have a few methods currently but one of the problems is that they can be slow, so by the time we find them the damage has already been done.

It's possible your account got caught up in the ban wave and if so I'm deeply sorry. The good news though is that we can release the account if you contact Player Support!

Well got a response back these guys rock. I'm glad it was figured out. Also glad their working hard to catch cheaters and players trying to sell they'really game. This was the response I was given. Mad respect for WookieCookie :

Nice to talk to you! As I mentioned in a reply to your forum post it looks like your account was caught up in a ban wave that we were targeting against "botters". Programs that auto-level League accounts so they can be sold later. I'm still tuning our detection methods and your account's case is a big help for us.

I've since unlocked your account. Also for the trouble I've added a Hextech Chest (and a key) to your account, you'll find it when you next log in.

A ban out of nowhere and with little description is often the result of account compromise or use of illegal third party programs. Have you been playing on public computers, used any third party applications that interacted with the game, or shared your account in any way?

It could be any number of things, so you'll just have to be patient and wait on the ticket reply. It could take a few days, so please be patient and do not bump it with replies or it will be pushed to the back of the queue.

glad they got you sorted out and a treat! :D its always good to take a break after a few long games...i think this reduces the getting caught in the autobot-ban. those dang bots will play for hours and hours. so tired of seeing them in TT. but yea, take breaks every now and again, also helps to save youre eyes from strain. and then you can come back after a snack or which ever, and be refreshed to kick some booty.

My roommate just had a similar experience. He hadn't hit level 10 yet and was permanently banned for.....something. No clue what. Maybe they thought you were Tyler 1 and banned it. Jk but that is bullshit. Who even flames in bots or feeds, you will always win.

Famous streamer Tobias Fate(GP OTP) got banned after leveling his acc on stream.
