Banning players (without evidence)

Hi, this is my first time writing something into this forum.

I have a topic I want to discuss about. My Account was permanently banned AND I don't want to whine about it and beg for your help in this thread. I want to know if riot is actually allowed to permanently ban Accounts without proof. Or at least without showing the evidence.

My case: In my case I wanted to log into my account and got the message, that my account is permanently banned. I looked up my mails and got this:

"Greetings erfrpg168, Actions that have been performed on your account are in violation of the League of Legends Terms of Use. You can review these terms at http://www.leagueoflegends.com/legal/termsofuse Due to the severity of this violation, your League of Legends account has been banned until Tue Feb 22 22:22:22 UTC 2203 If you have any questions, contact our Player Support team at https://support.leagueoflegends.com/home Riot Games Player Support"

Well I was´t smarter after this and I contacted the player support. I wanted to know what I did wrong and wrote back and forth with them. The conversation was in German and because of that, I wont post it here unless someone wants to. In short: They said I got banned for using third-party-programs.

That's it. They don't want to give any proof whatsoever. They don´t let me know in which period I used it, why they believe I did it and closed the case....

Well....However, again to my question: Are they allowed to act like that? Its like you get accused for murder and put into jail. You know now, you are in jail because you are accused of it, but where is the proof? Is something fact because riot says so? I know riot can terminate your account, if they have a reason, but is this reason allowed to be made up? They just keep saing they are not allowed to show details (to me).

Thank you for your time and answers.

And I am sorry for my English. I am no native English speaker.

They can't reveal to you how they discovered your unauthorized third-party programs because the developers of said programs would then be able to evade detection. Also, the Terms of Service state that Riot owns your account and can do whatever they want with it. Edit: If you actually didn't use unauthorized programs, this might help: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/player-behavior-moderation/VYcZnWf1-regarding-the-most-recent-ban-wave-for-unauthorized-third-party-applications

Terms of Service writes that Riot can permaban anyone's account at anytime without reason.

They have a right to ban anyone without any notice or evidence. It's not saying they abuse it, they just have good reasons. If they provided people with the evidence on how they got caught cheating, it would potentially show scripters how to circumvent the system in the future. It is nothing more than a security measure.
