riot, here's my two cents
i'm bitter and a lil tipsy but hear me out ok
the lesson is always for 99% of users to "grow a thicker skin" aka not tilt, mute, report, be the bigger person etc. instead of being more strict about punishing toxic players, when they are the source of the problem
anyone can fire at will but it's up to everyone else to buy armor bulletproof vests? why are we accomodating those individuals??
i ain't no psychology expert but this is probably how toxicity grows within the individual and the community, since it is encouraged to never fight back and those players rarely suffer the immediate consequences of their actions unlike the ones they flame and harass, and this brings the whole team down.
i look at blizzard that made it impossible to type "gg ez" in chat afterwards without looking like an idiot and i'm thinking maybe we should have that kind of system here too. if a player types "trash" too often, his chat is disabled for 5 min. he's automatically been told to "shut up" by the system. it's fair since it forces the player to regulate what they do, it shouldn't be up to his teammates to tiptoe around them
