Why do you punish for dodging ranked queue?

Honestly. I don't understand the concept. If I'm sitting in a lobby with people that either will not communicate, are flaming when the game hasn't started, or are picking troll comps like Janna jg. I don't even have to put examples. We all know of the literal toxic ooze that is this games players. I just don't understand why I'm losing lp when I'm literally preventing a completely toxic game that will lose me 10-15 lp in the end anyway. What reason do you possibly have to take my lp away for that? If there is a legitimate one, I'd love to know.
